Positive: Really liked the breakfast. you helped yourself to coffee and granola with yogurt. You also got omelette with choices. I usually got vegetables. Toast or pancakes with jam.

Positive: La Casona Azul was the first of several places I stayed during my two-week trip to Lima, and while each one was excellent with no complaints, my experience at La Casona Azul was truly exceptional. Jacory runs the property wonderfully. It was such a pleasure to see her each morning on the terrace while I enjoyed a freshly prepared breakfast cooked to order by a member of staff. The breakfast was outstanding—hot, freshly brewed coffee, seasonal fruit, yoghurt, omelettes made to my liking, pancakes, and fresh juice. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect start to each day. Jacory kindly spoke to me in Spanish, as I’m currently learning the language, but for those not studying, there’s no need to worry—her English is fluent. Her recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Miraflores were greatly appreciated. Warm and welcoming, the atmosphere felt like a real home away from home. The guesthouse is ideally located—just a short walk from Kennedy Park, the Malecón, and Larcomar. I stayed in Room No.1, which was perfect, complete with lovely hot water in the shower at all times. On my final morning, as I had an early flight to Cusco, Jacory even prepared a breakfast bag for me to take with me—such a thoughtful gesture. It’s also worth noting that just a few hours after I arrived in Peru, there was a powerful 6.1 earthquake. I was in my room at the time and utterly terrified, not knowing what had happened—I initially thought something had crashed into the building. Jacory immediately reassured me, calmly explaining that Lima experiences frequent tremors due to its position on a tectonic plate. While the earthquake was entirely beyond her control, she handled the situation with such grace and professionalism. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Casona Azul and would not hesitate to return should I visit Peru again.
Negative: Nothing at all. The accommodation was in a perfect area and I could not fault anything about my 3 night stay. Thank you Jacory.
Summary: Of the four places I stayed at during my 2 week trip to Peru, my stay at La Casona Azul was the best

Negative: That we had to go up and down some spiral metal very narrow stairs to the second floor where our room was located.

Positive: Best place I've stayed in Peru. I really enjoyed the communication with staff member, Jacory. She is the sweetest! Always checked on me when I was coming back to the hotel at night. I travelled solo generally in Peru and Lima itself. I felt incredibly safe coming to hotel a night, it locates in nice area. Jacory also prepared me breakfast to go when I was leaving hotel early in the morning and she always recommended me places to visit around and the areas to avoid. Also, the breakfast is awesome! Best I've had in Peru. Very diverse and fresh! And the terrace is super cozy, place for breakfast.

Positive: I would highly recommend staying at La Casona Azul. All the staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I stayed twice during my trip and ended up booking 3 airport transfers direct with them. All of which went seamlessly. The location is in lovely neighbour and great for walking around Miraflores and Barranco.

Positive: You really feel home here! The staff is amazing, very kind and helpful. They took care of the transfer from the airport, the very early morning check in and they helped me to look for a physio centre (I got my back blocked due to the flight). Breakfast was super good and fresh; the terrace very cozy! The rooms were ok, clean and organized. Location is also great and close to everything in Miraflores. I really recommend it for a genuine experience.

Positive: Location is excellent and in a very safe area near restaurants and Kennedy Park. The staff and management are all very kind and helpful, and go above and beyond to provide a pleasant stay for all of their guests.
Negative: Although my beautiful, sunny room overlooked a busy corner and I kept the windows closed most of the time, I found that opening windows in the evening and utilizing the fan would cool the room enough to make it comfortable for sleeping. However I'm not sure if this would work in all seasons or for those who are used to having a/c. Alternatively, I believe that there are interior rooms with garden views.
Summary: This is a lovely place in the heart of Miraflores with staff that go out of their way to please!
