Negative: All good for us. It is close to cathedral and the bells ring at about 9:30 in the morning, so perhaps not for those who like to sleep late…

Positive: It is a magnificent old colonial-type house that was rebuilt about 10 years ago. The location is superb, right in the heart of the historic district (pedestrian only) of the beautiful town of Alcalá de Henares. The apartment was very comfortable and clean.

Negative: The internet! Although there are several wifi access points, the signal in many rooms was weak, and even when strong enough, the internet was slow.

Positive: The location is superb and the apartment was clean. It offers secured parking (€10/day). The staff were friendly and helpful. Second stay at La Casona, we love it.

Negative: The apartment was hot when we arrived. Recommend turning on AC a couple of hours before scheduled arrival time.
