Positive: A very large open plan kitchen/living room, airy and well lit. Comfortable bed with its own door to a private outside area that opens onto a large fields. Very friendly and welcoming host, easy self check in and large space to park the car in front of the accommodation which is on the ground floor next to the owner's. It's like an open farm and they have apples, pears, eggs, chicken, in a tiny village near the woods. We had dinner and a bottle of champagne outside in front of the house, very pleasant.
Negative: The house has ultra modern appliances, but it gets so complicated to figure out how things work, although we got there in the end, with a lot of laughter. We took the challenge in turn. How do you switch off that light, how do you switch off the radio. We lost the battle with the mirror light in the bedroom and slept with the soft light on. The walk-in shower is in the bedroom, without a separate door. The toilet is outside the bedroom, it makes a lot of noise as it's one of these modern self churning toilets, and the radio automatically plays when you switch the light on. But overall, it worked fine for us, the host were super friendly and generous (thank you!) and we had a very bucolic stay.

Positive: The location is stunning. Situated in a small hamlet in the hilly Champagne region, the property has views out over fields to the hills beyond. We loved the peace and the rural experience. The hosts were very welcoming and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. This was probably the best property we have stayed in in France over recent years. We will definitely hope to return and recommend it very highly.
Negative: Nothing to improve!

Positive: The appartment is connected to the house of the hosts. It has nice terraces in the back and in the front. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The appartment is new and fully equipped. View from the rear terrace is amazing. The village is tiny, quiet, away from roads in the middle of nature, farm land and grape fields. Excellent for walking and biking, if you don't mind a climb. More recreational bikers like us are better off driving to the river first and use the bike path there. Countless champagne makers can be found along the river, most of them open for tasting and buying. Absolute must in the region, of course.
Negative: Nothing to improve. We stayed for six days. Long enough to see a part of what the region has to offer, and leave space to go once or twice more.
Summary: Perfect place to relax and be active in the nature.
