Summary: The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal.

Summary: We had the most perfect time in the cottage. There were four girls and there was plenty of space. The garden catches the morning sun amazingly and the pool was lovely. The two vineyards in the village let us taste the wine for free - and many bottles were bought! The only slight disappointment was that the oven didn’t work very well, and the grill was always on regardless of which setting you selected - so we did eat quite a lot of charred croissants!

Summary: Lovely little gite in a very rural location, if you are looking for peace and quiet the La Chantreille is ideal. Arnaud is a willing and helpful host, and was on call if we needed him,the gite is attached to his house but we had pretty much total privacy. Lots of Chateau and other attractions not too far away. Would recommend to everyone!

Summary: A family holiday made even more special by this lovely house in Oisly. The owners were most helpful and welcoming with the facilities, including the swimming pool, just right for the four adults, one year old grandson and French bulldog. Well positioned for chateaux and small wine producers abound in this area of Touraine in Loir et Cher. Will definitely book again.
