Positive: this is the loveliest place to stay in the Albaicyn i could fault anything at all. A little taste of authentic living in a truly spectacular position. The view of the Alhambra breath taking.
Negative: The hob was a bit temperamental and we couldn't always get the coffee maker to work on the hob. Also very surprised at just how busy it was up there with tourists in abundance.
Summary: a joyous place to stay in a wonderful area

Positive: This is a true ‘find’! Perched up in the Albaicin quarter of the city, the roof terrace has the most fantastic view of the Alhambra. The pictures don’t do justice to the roof terrace!
Negative: One of the bedrooms is at the back of another, separated by a curtain, so if everyone in your group needs privacy, this might be an issue. It was fine for us but worth noting, as we hadn’t realised.
Summary: Superb views of The Alhambra!

Positive: It’s a very cool setting. The terrace is superb and it has everything we needed.
Negative: Steep walk home! Also only 1 bed made up, which was a small issue, but maybe worth checking in advance. I stayed with my daughter not my husband.
Summary: Fabulous; cool in both senses of the word and great value.

Positive: The location is very good. You have to be in shape, but we knew that, so it wasn't a problem. The view from the terrace is spectacular! We were a little worried about the cold, but the radiators were sufficient. Generally I would like to come back to the place.

Positive: The location is great, as are the views. It is nice to walk around the neighbourhood. The property is basic, but has most things covered.
Negative: Parking is a challenge and there are no grocery stores nearby. We didn’t want to move our car (or drive anywhere we didn’t need to) so we had to find the minimarts. They have the basics, so that is fine. Couldn’t find the wifi password anywhere, but they messaged us back relatively quickly.
Summary: Good views and something a little different.

Positive: We loved the atmosphere and location and views. We knew it was farther away from the center because we’re on the cave houses so we were expecting that. The views are AMAZING and we could actually find the cave house from the Alhambra, which was really fun. The bus stop was very close and easy to access. The house was clean. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and left us some bread, jam and milk. It was a great stay.
Negative: My only complaint is that the bathroom and living space gets a little warm but the rest of the house stays cool. Just a heads up.

Positive: What a location! How many times do you get to stay in a cave house with a fantastic view of the Al Hambra across the valley? Host was quite helpful and patient as I had difficulties with cellphone reception and had missed some of the instructions on how to access the property. The host also provided information for food delivery as we arrived at the property late in the evening. Plenty of room for the family and the location felt homey. Home was clean and comfortable. Neighbourhood was tucked away from the centre but a short walk away from main areas. Made use of the kitchen and host had coffee, tea and bread available.
Negative: Getting to the location was a bit challenging as we took a taxi from the bus terminal and the cab was not able to drop us off near the house. We had to walk around a bit to find the house. This though was a minor inconvenience but travellers should be aware.
Summary: Family considered this the highlight of our trip.
