Positive: The guest house is beautiful and recently renovated and the host was helpful and available.
Negative: The reason I am not giving this stay a higher rating is for the following reasons: 1. Pictures are misleading: The pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. The guest house photos are also misleading as it appears to have several rooms, but really only have one open space (the shower/bathroom - though tastefully designed - is literally in the bedroom. There is no living room, only a kitchen area where you enter on the ground floor. 2. Misleading description: none of the above points are clear in the property listing. It's described as if there's an independent bedroom from the living room, when there really isn't a living room at all. Upon arrival, we were also informed that we could only use the pool at specific hours (not between 10am - 3pm during peak hours). This wasn't really an issue for us, but its not mentioned anywhere in the listing, which only mentions a "private pool". 3. Optional dinner/breakfast: We opted for this as it was convenient to not have to get groceries and cook by ourselves. However, at 12 euros per person for breakfast, we were disappointed to see that this included a few pieces of baguette and croissants, some chocolate, honey and jam spread and juice. Essentially what you'd get at a café for that price, but not worth it in a homestay in the middle of nowhere. It also didn't help that the baguettes and croissants were a day old. In conclusion, this is a great place to stay for a couple, but not ideal for a family travelling with two kids. Once it's their bedtime, you have nowhere to retreat to since there's no living room (and no door between the downstairs kitchen and the bedroom). You also absolutely need a car for this destination as there's nothing around.

Positive: Everything, absolutely everything. The pool was great, the hosts were gracious and kind and the place was stunning! Would recommend to anyone that is passing through France.
Negative: Nothing - everything was amazing!
Summary: 12/10 - go and enjoy it! It’s worth every penny.
