Positive: The house was very comfortable and cosy with all that we needed during our stay. Separate bedrooms and ensuites for 2 couples was perfect. Kitchen well appointed and sunny terrace where you could enjoy the sunshine. We were in the backyard which was like being in a park.

Negative: Nothing I could say we didn’t like about Grange d’Elise. One bathrooms shower door didn’t close so water leaked on the floor. No shelf in the shower. A few more coat hangers would be good. Such tiny things but maybe it’s a details that would only add to the fantastic stay that this house has to offer.

Positive: Lovely barn conversion on the edge of the owners beautiful garden. Although we collected the keys from a key safe the owner was home when we arrived and immediately came to greet us, as did her cute golden retriever who regularly popped across to the barn to say hello throughout our stay! The property is very comfortable and immaculately clean. The owner had provided a comprehensive file of useful and practical information about the property and local area which was available in a number of languages, for those who do not speak french, which is a thoughtful touch. The property is in a rural village without amenities though everything that you may require is within a 10 minute drive or so. I would highly recommend this property and we are very likely to return.

Negative: Nothing! A small BBQ would make a welcome addition in the summer months.
