Positive: I loved this place; it is beautiful. The view from the room isn’t of anything special, but it does have a nice view of the plants outside. The setup of this place is quite comfortable, and the energy flows through it nicely. The shared spaces are very comfortable, and Hakim is a lovely person. I sat in the warmth of the Hammam, which was lovely as it got a little chilly. The winds were very strong while I stayed, and Hakim even made me a fire in the fireplace. I loved the bed; I slept very well here, even with the high winds.
Negative: The location is far for me as I am alone and without a car. It’s not a place to be without a car. When I booked, I didn’t look at the location, which I usually do. It’s about 20 minutes from Essaouira. I had dinner one night, and it was good. I had a salad another night, which was also good but very expensive. When you’re here without a car, you can’t easily get food or water, which was a bit challenging. I did make friends with a local person who came to pick me up and give me rides to places. Without that, it would have been a bit of a challenge and quite pricey with a taxi.
Summary: The home is beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and it’s very quiet.

Positive: The bed is great - the shower is amazing - the pool area is amazing and the breakfast was perfect
Negative: The people don’t speak 1 word of English - was hard to communicate - the hamam was not part of the hotel price you had to pay extra for it which was not clear on the description. Also on the description it was written that you will have a kitchen but when we arrived there we realized there is not kitchen available.

Positive: Beautiful Riad, tastefully decorated, spacious but still homely. Lots of space around so that you feel in a private oasis even with other guests there. Delicious homemade tajines, salads and breakfast from Latifa - and amazing service - it felt like staying with family. We loved it!
Negative: The taxis into Essaouira were a little more expensive than we had planned for, so worth bearing in mind. We mostly used the blue taxis from Essaouira centre that were cheapest in the end.
