Positive: Really beautiful room, lovely surroundings of the hotel, saw a dart frog and some lovely birds from our balcony. Really nice pool and lovely breakfast. The staff were really useful with recommendations so we could spend our days well. Also really good off street parking for our hire car

Negative: Only thing we found is the bathroom and bedroom we’re technically the same room with no doors, so that was slightly awkward

Positive: The room was very nice and you really felt in touch with the nature. The whole place was very clean and lots of care was taken on a daily basis. The staff was also super nice throughout our stay. Breakfast was very tasty, prepared with local produce. It is located on a side street,but easily reachable by car (the road seems a bit more daunting on google maps than it is in reality). You can get to a black beach in a few minutes on foot. The town is 5 minutes away by car.

Negative: When it rained heavily the apartment got very noisy, probably due to the material of the roof and the lack of sound insulation. The room was also a bit dark due to the surrounding vegetation, but nevertheless nice.

Positive: The place was superb. Beautiful room and balcony, which overlooked vegetation. The owner and staff were welcoming. Breakfast was a delight, with freshly prepared fruit from their garden. Each morning a coffee was brought to the door, to drink at our lodge. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would love to return one day.

Positive: Great proximity to Playa Negra and a short drive to town. Excellent breakfasts, coffee/tea brought to the cabin every morning, good parking and lovely staff. Very safe.

Negative: The beds were quite hard and you could feel the springs. A little pricey.
