Summary: On friday am I attempted to check in at 11am. Was informed to come back in an hour, by the Front office manager. At 12:15 i returned and was told by a front office agent that it would cost $50 additional to check in early. I was rather shocked. I stay 300 nights a year at hotels and have for years. Never have I heard of an additional fee to check in. I waited til 1pm and was charged $30. I attempted to call hotels,com to complain as I saw nothing in their web site stating such a policy. I can’t say anyone at the front desk was very hospitable either. They did their job but never bothered with information about the hotel (breakfast. WiFi, etc). Overall I very dissatisfied guests I am I would have cancelled my room but I knew the hotel would charge me. Wish I could have spoken to a customer service agent at Hotels.com but had no luck there

Summary: The hotel needs a major renovation. The railings around the property are rusty and need to be painted, along with the building itself and the guest rooms. The bathrooms require plumbing upgrades, as the sink is dripping and the toilet is not flushing properly. Additionally, smokers often linger outside their rooms for hours, causing the smell to fill the air. The free breakfast was disappointing; aside from waffles made in an old waffle maker, there were no other hot food options available.

Summary: In town to tour Colorado School of Mines. Hotel location was great. Hotel lobby was nice, but the hotel room was is desperate need of deep cleaning and updating. It smelled musty and like urine. We had to keep the window open to help air out the room. Toilet was constantly running, which was very annoying.

Summary: We had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff at this hotel. We arranged for a tenant from one of our apartment units to stay here temporarily while we addressed a maintenance issue, and unfortunately, she ended up checking out early, cutting her two-night stay short, due to the lack of hospitality. When I attempted to speak with the front desk gentleman to extend the stay by a night and provide an updated credit card for incidentals, he was rude and completely unaccommodating. He insisted we physically come to the hotel to present the card, with no willingness to work with us on a solution. His tone and attitude were unnecessarily difficult and unprofessional, and it ultimately made the entire experience unpleasant for both us and our tenant. We won’t be booking here again.

Summary: Pool is out of service. This was not mentioned at the time of booking or check in. When we went to go swim we seen a padlock on the gate. Manager on site stated that the facility failed their safety inspections and could not open the pool until further notice. No offer for other accommodations or discount on stay due to the inconvenience.

Summary: The room was clean at first look but the ants were really bad, our room snacks were ruined. Great location to interstate and two great gas stations, resturaunts, and the most fantastic coffee place.

Summary: Room was average size but bathroom was tiny. Air conditioning was not work in the room. It was set at 60 and blew most of the night but the room was warm.

Summary: Staff was helpful. No conditioner, no washcloths, bare bones breakfast, one ice maker. Clearly an old building that could use some work. Overpriced for what I received. The Comfort Inn was 10x better and less expensive on a weekend!
