Positive: The cleanliness was spotless, the view ooohh what beautiful views, Lore was very responsive and even gave us the mos awesome recommendations for food restaurants plus fun things to do and places to go even around outside San Miguel de Allende Lore and her husbandmade us feel right at home from the very beginning, the beds are so comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast, the beautiful and clean kitchen also has beautiful views out the big windows, there are lots of steps up and down but all with awesome scenery/gardens and arquitecture, there is even an elevator to help you when carrying your luggage or any heavy items, the place is very safe throughout San Miguel de Allende is safe all around, your car stays in the compound safe parking, most everything is close by, the several food restaurants have something for everyone including good live music most restaurants, the town/city is overall very friendly and safe... yes I can't say "safe" enough because we were out in town late until 12 or 1 am then walked back feeling a sense of safety, the place is family oriented and With even a good size swimming pool, we cannot wait to go back to San Miguel de Allende and stay at LA SUNSET CONDO because it is very comfortable, super clean, BEAUTIFUL, organized and has beautiful views while you drink your favorite cup of coffee/tea, beer or a good glass of wine

Positive: The location was within walking distance from everything and the view from the condo was absolutely beautiful especially the sunsets. Ms Gilda and Ms Lore provided us with everything that made our stay comfortable and memorable💖
Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like about it the only thing I would say is that the flight of steps to get to the condo and the steep streets make it extremely challenging for someone with physical impairments or an elderly person to come and go to the condo.
Summary: Perfect location to experience the culture and beauty of San Miguel de Allende.

Positive: The facility itself was beautiful! It had a great view! Close to restaurants and other places to visit.
Negative: We were at the top of a steep hill and then had to walk up three flights of stairs to reach our room. Separately, each leg of walking is great, but walking from the central plaza to the uphill and then the flights of stairs was a struggle for me.

Positive: Loved the space, charm, and comfort. The view obviously is spectacular. The swimming pool was great to have on hand also.
Negative: The only partial negative was the internet which was intermittent then stopped working altogether.

Positive: I really can't say enough good things about La Sunset Condo. It's a comfortable, tastefully decorated living space. The balcony and patio have fabulous views of the city. My husband and I enjoyed the vista over wine at sunset on several evenings. We spent a week at the condo, and the managers, Lore and Michael, were wonderful. I arrived in San Miguel having just taken a fall in Queretaro. After a day of pain, I decided that I needed to see a doctor and get some x-rays. Michael not only set up a same-day appointment for me with his personal doctor, but he also drove me and my husband to the doctor's office. Fortunately, with some medications, I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation, and Lore was kind enough to check up on me and my health. I have stayed at dozens of short-term rentals all around the world, and that kind of attention and support is exceptional. While the condo is not right off the Jardin, which is at the heart of the city's activities, it is within walking distance of it and other services (according to my husband, who did the walking).
Negative: One thing that I will note is that La Sunset Condo is not accessible for visitors with wheelchairs or serious physical disabilities. While there is an open-air elevator, there are steps and inclined walkways between the building's front door and the elevator and between the elevator's exit and the condo's front door. The building itself also is a good ways up a steep hill that could be hard for some people to get up and difficult for people with bad knees to go down. Of course, all of San Miguel is hilly, and because of my knee problems, I ended up taking a lot of taxis and Ubers around anyway. In the condo complex, I was able to negotiate the walkways and stairs since most of them have railings.
Summary: I would happily recommend La Sunset Condo as a base to enjoy SMA.
