Positive: I loved the location's cool breezes as near the laguna. It was quiet & very comfortable there. Hot water, a lovely pool; private &/or group relaxing areas with hammocks. Beautiful clean room with quality linens. The owners were very accommodating, generous & helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding, especially compared to the usual lean "typical" nico breakfast served most places. Fresh yummy sour dough bread daily was such a treat! Dinner was optional for additional fee... I had several and they were very tasty & generous... unfortunately for me, eating at 730pm or later is not what my tummy is used to. Some other guests even found that early - different cultures I guess.

Negative: Overall it was a beautiful place to relax - I booked 4 nights and stayed 10! The only thing I struggled with was having to go out each day to eat, because 8a to 8p is a long time to go without food; and the rule is you cannot bring in food or drink. There isn't much closeby & I didn't have a vehicle. Despite that, I do highly recommend this place.

Positive: After having spent a few nights in the jungle we were delighted to be met with this gorgeous stay. The best part was undoubtedly the hosts, who treat you like family and provide such helpful advice about what to do and how to get there. The food was incredible! Home cooked meals every night and most importantly fresh bread every day! My boyfriend is coeliac so we thought he wouldn’t be able to enjoy this treat but turns out he absolutely could and somehow the fresh sourdough was also gluten free - he was in paradise! We spent a day at the lake, explored Masaya volcano and went to Granada from here. It was perfectly located between them all.

Positive: The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property was small but very nice and quiet. You can walk to the laguna from the hotel but it took me 45 minutes and it was quite the decent down. The optional dinner and included breakfast were delicious and they even accommodated my food allergy.

Positive: Nice and comfortable with everything you need to relax. Outdoor areas are very cozy with a lot of places to hang out and pool is quite big. Food was delicious and hosts, Françoise and Renaud, very welcoming. Our kid loved it too.
