Summary: La Terrasse is a beautiful place in a great area! It is conveniently located near the main attractions but in an area where your stay can still be relaxing and peaceful. The staff is beyond wonderful and the breakfast is well worth it. Did not experience the dinner /dinning options at night but the menu looked amazing as well. Will definitely return here.

Summary: The gorgeous location of this ancient property is a real draw. However the modest cost of the accommodation is perhaps reflected in the rather basic room. It has everything one needs but is could do with a refurb. One of the main attractions of the establishment is the restaurant with its terrace overlooking the river below. The menu options are rather pricey and we felt the food was good but not outstanding. Service was fine and the owner of the hotel who is also around on reception as well as serving on tables couldn’t have been more charming - she also speaks English and Spanish (and possibly other languages).

Summary: Lovely staying in an old castle but it does come with some challenges. There are a lot of curved stair cases and no elevators. Scenery is beautiful and the village is very quaint and peaceful.

Summary: This property exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived early and were allowed to check in without any fuss and were shown to a wonderful room (No 1) with a stunning view of the river. We had lunch in the restaurant and while I went to watch the Tour de France, my wife relaxed in the room and walked the dog by the river. The pool was a welcome relief after a hot day and dinner on the terrace was superb. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was just perfect. It was a shame we only stayed one night.

Summary: Easy to find, a short distance from the motorway. We parked 20 metres away in the small village by the church. We checked in and were shown to our room. The room was fine. The bed a little soft. A separate loo and shower which only ever happens in France these days. But no one really cares about the room as long as it is clean and contains a bed when you stay here! This stay is all about the food. Which was fabulous. So yes we will visit again. For the food. And the lady of the house who was charming. Almost forgot we had a lovely little walk around the village. Perhaps 40 minutes worth. Very peaceful.

Summary: Great location and hôtel to stay in Meyronne in old castle overlooking the Dordogne river Excellent restaurant over the river And hills Breakfast Buffet is good Too bad no place for drinks in afternoon

Summary: Lovely hotel, wonderful dinner with an inspired chef who did things like a wonderful courgette starter serving courgette and flower. Delicious fish and meat dishes too. Comfortable bed, generous towels. Excellent breakfast and swimming pool with a great view. All in all, perfect!

Summary: This place is pretty cool. It has a nice location sitting at the end and over looking the bridge and the river. Its very much castle like on the interior with winding staircases made feom stone. The food was really really good. Service amazing. We would def recommend staying
