Positive: We stayed 3 nights at La Terrazza Nel Borgo….it was fabulous! The location is tucked away up in the mountains and the views are spectacular. Our hosts Lidia and Michele were so delightful and friendly, always looking to help with suggestions for nearby sights to see. They prepared a wonderful dinner for us as well as very yummy breakfasts each morning, with lots of choices. The upper part of Tortora, where the property is located, is really interesting. It’s full of small alleys and lanes that lead to breathtaking views of the valleys below. There are some good restaurant choices in the lower part of the town, just a 5 minute drive down. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and stairs in the town and the facility, they are not hard to manage, but you need to be aware of them. We’d recommend this location to any of our friends or family looking to explore this beautiful part of southern Italy.

Positive: Thank you for the heartfelt hospitality during our stay. The hosts are truly wonderful, warm, and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. The B&B is impeccably organized, pleasant, and spotlessly clean. Nothing was missing — it is clear that every detail was thoughtfully considered. The views are breathtaking and the atmosphere is simply magical. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner, lovingly prepared by Lidia, and the breakfast was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended. We will be happy to return on our next trip.

Positive: We had a great stay at La Terrazza nel Borgo in Tortora. They met us at the parking area and even helped carry our suitcase upstairs, which we really appreciated. The place is charming with beautiful views, and breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Just take note of the 16:00 check-in time. Highly recommended!

Positive: I’ve traveled all over Italy and very few places truly stick with me but this one will. A real gem. Tucked away in a tumbledown village surrounded by mountains, only 5 minutes from the sea and 30 minutes drive from the magical Basilicata coast. The location is only some of the appeal, the hosts Lidia and Michele are the real gems. The property is a project of love and a quest for slow living and I think they achieved it. Lidia went above and beyond during my very short stay to prepare a beautiful dinner. Considering I booked very last minutes in the off-season and as a solo traveler they couldn’t have done any more to look after me. One night is not enough. I will absolutely be back to spend some more time in this area and I will definitely be spending it here.
