Positive: Lidia and Bruno were amazing hosts! The food was amazing, the position fantastic—a great view of the mountains with many animal friends. A beautifully warm experience.

Positive: Breakfast there was very good! Really all of the meals that we had there were quite wonderful. The dining atmosphere was very cozy and pleasant.

Negative: Our room was quite small with no real room for luggage or even a place to sit down aside from the bed. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The heat at night was nearly unbearable and made sleeping impossible. I didn't sleep at all the first night and only sporadically the second. There were dogs barking just outside of our window much of the night. There is a language barrier, which I expect, but it was evident that our host became frustrated with us over it. Be aware that the meals are wonderful but each item is ala carte. This sounds like a lot, but most of this could be remedied with just a few improvements.

Summary: We stayed while we were touring the area.

Positive: Lidia Is the perfect host. She overwhelms the guests with culinary tricks: ricotta, cheese, ham, cagliata, frittata, eggs, and so on are only part of her neverending aces in the sleeve. Every single piece of food that she gives to the guests is produced by her hands and it is particularly tasty. Breakfast was included in the price, and the local restaurant is always open for guests. The room is overall nice, very clean and easily accessible. The location is perfect if you like peaceful and quiet days. From there the guests can access several local attractions and locations deeply embedded in the countryside of Abruzzo. To make the stay more "interesting", it is worth mentioning the presence of a very reassuring German shepherd named "Leo". Free parking is available on site. We highly suggest "La via del parco"!!
