Positive: We stayed at this house for a week in late June with our family (6 adults), and we absolutely loved it. The house is spacious, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. With two full bathrooms and a guest toilet, it easily accommodated all of us without feeling crowded. The outdoor area was a highlight — the pool is surrounded by beautiful trees and blooming bushes, creating a wonderful and private atmosphere. There were plenty of seating options, a large dining table, a grill, and five very comfortable sunbeds with pillows. Beach towels were provided, which was a nice bonus. We also had fun with the basketball hoop that was available. Inside, the house was well-equipped. The air conditioning in every room worked perfectly, which made a big difference during the warmer days. The kitchen had a big fridge with an ice cube machine and a large freezer. There's also a washing machine, though we didn’t end up using it. Just a short 5-minute drive away, there’s a nearby village with everything you might need — a great supermarket, pharmacy, gas station, pizza place, and more. Super convenient! Michaela is truly a superhost. She welcomed us when we arrived and came by to say goodbye at the end of our stay. She even brought us delicious baked treats a few times and once came to clean the pool and outdoor area without us even asking. Her recommendations for nearby villages to visit were spot-on — we explored four out of five and loved each one. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we honestly can’t recommend this place enough!

Positive: Villa des Carriers is a beautiful villa, very well situated close to Nice, Antibes and Cannes as well as some smaller villages which are well worth a visit (Valbonne, Mougins. The villa is spacious, clean and modern and is very well appointed with everything you need. The bedrooms (including 2 with en-suite) and living space are very comfortable with air-conditioning throughout. The outdoor space is fantastic with a really good sized pool, deep enough to jump in from the sidewall, but also with a shallow end and graduating steps, which makes it great for kids. The BBQ and outdoor eating space is brilliant for evening meals al fresco, and is lit up at night. It all feels very private and despite having a neighbour next door, we didn't hear any noise at all. All in all the property is a real gem. What makes it stand out more however, is Michaela the host, who was so welcoming and twice delivered us fresh pastries and bread when she came to clean the pool etc. When we had left, Michaela noticed my daughter had left her hair brush and she offered to post it to us, really great service. Merci encore, Michaela!
Negative: As others have noted, there is a steep, rocky lane up to the property, which is a bit hairy on first ascent/descent. Once you've done it a few times, however, it's really not that bad. It's very much worth it to reach this brilliant villa.

Positive: The house is a personal home of the owner and that shows in the care that goes into wanting to offer guests the best holiday experience. The house comes with everything thinkable and useful provided, from coffee pods to olive oil. Three excellent double bed bedrooms (although one without hanging space) , an altogether very spacious house with various places to sit both inside and outside. The decoration is remarkably tasteful. Only the TV is a fairly simple model and does not seem to have the regular French channels but does have all the standard app channels. Excellent surprisingly deep pool (although not heated). The location is excellent. You have the benefit of being a bit but not far inland and higher up, offering cooler temperatures compared with the coast. That the house is renovated from an old thick walled house also helps to keep it cooler than most places. These can be precious benefits when it gets really hot!
Negative: To reach the house there is small S-curved cemented steep road immediately of the main road. Especially the first time this can be a challenge or even a minor shock especially with rental cars. Heavy cars can even slip over loose pieces. This gets even more trickier if you happen to bump into one of the neighbors cars who live in the only other adjacent house halfway this steep one car road. The owner is aware that this needs to be improved. We could not use the frying pans as a previous guest damaged the top coat with knives. Luckily the gas powered barbecue was there as an alternative although that takes a lot more cleaning afterwards. That was a bit unfortunate but this issue will likely be solved for the next guests. Lastly if we compare it to the house we stayed in the 5 days before in the region the price is a little bit on the high side. Thanks to Genius discounts we did manage to get it within our budget but without these we may actually have chosen a different place.

Positive: The house was even more beautiful in real life! So well equipped that it almost feels like you live there yourself with coffee, tea, towels board games and such we feel like we are home. The design and interior are so beautiful and the swimming pool makes the Villa complete. The host was so welcoming and so sweet and I cannot recommend it more!
