Positive: Well equipped (mostly) kitchen for cooking and large space to open up 2x large luggages. Provided good shower essentials and fresh linens and towels.

Negative: The room had a strong food smell (not fresh/ no air fresheners when it was cleaned the last time round) when we entered. Bear in mind host does not provide oil for cooking - not sure why there was a kitchen with condiments then. Many rules to follow (cannot use washing machine after a certain time, cannot use oil, cannot cook fish and meats that generate smoke, have to clean up all utensils and plates after use that have to be dried and returned to original placement). Owner was quite angsty and unfriendly.

Positive: This studio with 3 single bed is just nice for 3 of us. located at ground floor and close to town area, easy to find.

Negative: the kitchen is too small and less utensils. Bathroom does not have the door and easy to get wet. Plus it will be good to provide extra mirror outside bathroom area and some clothes hanger.

Summary: Overall it is a good place to stay.

Positive: Very nice apartment, right in the outskirts of Egilsstadir (2 minutes drive from the city center). Plenty of space for 3 people. Spotless clean! super Wifi and smartTV. Small but very well equipped kitchen, fully furbished! Nice, spacious and clean bathroom. Very clean room! Easy to get there, very easy check-in and check-out! Reccommended!!

Negative: Nothing, everything was perfect!

Positive: These are really excellent studio rooms - the kitchen has everything you could need for 2 people to make simple meals and coffee! The bathroom was bright and had good water pressure in the shower, and the bed and bedding was new and very comfortable. The host helped us with excellent restaurant recommendations and other suggestions about things to see and do in the area. We ended up staying an extra day!

Negative: Would have been nice to have stronger blackout curtains for constant Icelandic summer daylight.
