Summary: The Thirst Goat bartender Curtis was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! Worth the stop to get a fabulous drink.

Summary: Our stay was good, but it was very hot and hence it was their off-season. It was nice in that the place was quiet and peaceful. I loved the massage, and it was reasonably priced and included the tip. My husband loved the golf course. The grounds are also very nicely maintained. My only complaint was the fancier restaurant on property and their pricing. The prices are high to begin with but when we asked for more bread, we were not told that they would charge $11 for a very small loaf (the 1st loaf came with our meal). If they would’ve let us know that, we would not have asked for more bread as it was not worth $11. I asked if they had a side salad to order with my meal. The waiter said they did not but that they could split their salad entree on 2 plates for my husband and me. We were also not told that they would charge an additional $6 to put the same salad on 2 plates! I felt that charge was ridiculous being that we were already paying a hefty price for our 2 enteees and had ordered drinks. I would have appreciated being told of these additional charges.

Summary: This was a great spot. Spent two nights here and had the best time. Easy access to Big Bend, great pool, enjoyed the bakery, ice cream and Candalinas for meals. Beautiful grounds and stunning golf course!

Summary: This was a beautiful resort, full of inviting and friendly staff, from the front office, housekeepers, bartender, wait staff, activities director, horse guide, and pool guy - excellent service everywhere! The bed was super comfortable, and the food and drinks were excellent. Beautiful views! Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The restaurant had a hacienda style atmosphere overlooking the golf course. The food was pricey but super delicious. Our server was fantastic. The grounds/landscaping were beautifully maintained and the Boardwalk was charming with a rustic, old western town vibe. The room was our least favorite in that the bathroom was very small and certain areas are showing signs of aging. The bed was incredibly plush and comfortable. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Beautiful property grounds. Great service staff in all areas. Pool needed cleaning, access gate to pool area on departing did not make sense. Coffee maker in room didn’t work (was replaced after 2nd request). Plus bedside lamp window side did not work. Plus apparently had animals roaming overhead on the roof waking us up at 3:30 am with their noise. Despite the above we enjoyed our visit to Lajitas/ Big Bend.

Summary: The property could use some serious updating and a paint job, especially at the entrance. The bed was extremely soft and we felt like we were sinking in it. The bathroom was outdated. Other than that, the staff was incredibly helpful, room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I will say, however, that the cost was VERY overpriced for a property in disrepair. We would not be back for that reason.
