Summary: Beautiful property in great shape. Quiet lake with a lovely dock and extras. Two things to be aware of - one, it’s a relatively steep path to the lake. If someone in your party has mobility issues it may not suit you. Second, if you go in a cool month (we did October), you have two options for ground-floor heat. One is a wood stove and the other is some type of gas-powered heater. Use the wood stove if you can. The heater is surprisingly loud and vents a gas smell onto the deck.

Summary: It was our first time staying in Maine and it could not have been a more enjoyable and relaxing experience on Lake Arrowhead. The house was well stocked and rooms comfortable. Our party enjoyed our time down at the private dock putzing around on kayaks, cooking out on the supplies grills, catching up around the fire pit, and laughing at all the miserable rope swing attempts into the surprisingly warm lake water below. Only ask as an improvement would be to install a fan (or sound dampener) to the bathroom off the kitchen would be appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Summary: This was our first lakeside vacation and it exceeded our expectations! Our rental property owners made us feel very welcoming in their home. We enjoyed the lake, swing rope, paddle boat, canoe, and kayaks so much. A well equipped kitchen, we cooked every night and ate our meals overlooking the lake. The most peaceful, serene atmosphere ever! We visited Portland, hiked Sawyer Mtn., and picked raspberries at Orchards Farms. Perfect location to enjoy all the activities we experienced. We are definitely planning a trip back to Maine next summer!

Summary: Jordan’s home is amazing - details are well thought out from coffee maker/grinder, fresh flowers on the table and nice personalized touches. The house is immaculate and has everything you need for a family vacation. We had a ton of fun kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, etc. There are life jackets (adult and kid) and water toys to use in the lake provides. My kids loved the downstairs room with toys and bunk beds, and there was a TON of space upstairs with the additional 3 bedrooms. Definitely made wonderful memories - my 6-year-old even caught his first bass while fishing on the canoe with my husband! Once we were able to communicate with the property owner, Jordan, everything went perfectly smoothly and he responded quickly and was very friendly (we had frustration with Evolve, they’re inundated with work due to Covid and took weeks to respond to emails and were unreachable by phone). You can tell Jordan and his wife put a lot of thought into their lake home - it had a much more welcoming and homey feel than any home rental I’ve had to date. If you’re considering booking, do it! You won’t regret it.

Summary: We had a magical time at this property. The house met all of our needs and was lovely, cozy and comfortable for our family of five. The photos don't do justice to the property, which felt expansive. The lake was gorgeous and the water was warm. We had an amazing week swimming, using the rope swing and paddling around. Jordan, the property owner, was an excellent host and offered lots of great information. We can't wait to return next summer.
