Welcome to our Vintage A Frame -5 miles East of Lubbock. 1 bedroom 1 bathroom with a sofa bed in the living room. Our A frame sleeps 4 people. Great for a couple or a couple with two kids. We have fast WiFi if you have to do a little work while you are here. We also have a Smart TV in the living room. The galley kitchen has all the amenities you will want or need. Guest love to cook in our kitchen. We have a full spice rack and condiments in the refrigerator. There is a stackable washer and dryer should you need to wash clothes after a day swimming at one if the beaches or spending the day on the lake. Upstairs you will find a very well dressed queen bed and a comfortable sitting area with a view of the lake. The stairs have drawers under the steps where we keep toys for the little ones to play with and there are books and games as well. The living area has a comfortable sofa bed couch and two leather chairs to relax and cool off after being outside enjoying the sun. Out on the large deck we have additional eating area with a bar height table and four chairs. There is also built in seating along the rail. The deck features great views of the canyon and lake. In front of the deck there is a Fire pit and grill with a seating area. Enjoy looking at the moon and stars while enjoying the fire. Our goal is for you to have a great experience at our lake getaway. If there is something you need or if anything is broken let us know and we will fix it. There is a welcome book with house instructions and ideas for making your stay memorable. For instance there are lake rentals so you can rent jet skies, kayak’s, canoes, golf carts, etc…please leave a review in our book before you check out. Enjoy!

Summary: It was a great place to stay. Had a small hiccup with the sign-in process but the host was very gracious and helpful. We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were wonderful. Very clean, and all the necessities + were available. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Summary: Everyone says this, but it's true that pictures simply don't do this property justice. This adorable A-frame cabin perches on a cliff above Buffalo Springs Lake just outside Lubbock, TX, and provides just about anything a person could ask for from such a getaway. The area is quiet, peaceful, with a perfect view of the lake at any time of day. The cabin itself is surprisingly spacious on both floors with a full kitchen, bath, and large living space on the first floor and a spacious bedroom and separate sitting area on the second floor. Although marked for 1-2 people, a small family with 2-3 kids would probably still find the cabin quite adequate with the queen-sized bed upstairs and the full-to-queen pull out couch bed downstairs as well. For those looking to stay inside, the cabin has AC, solid wifi, a plethora of streaming services and local channels available for use on the mounted large screen TV, and a wall full of more traditional board games to be enjoyed by all ages. The kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, eating utensils, as well as mixing bowls, pots, pans, can opener and other tools and basic pantry items (oil, butter, sugar, dried herbs and spices, etc). In addition to the outdoor patio with deck table, chairs, bench, and lounge chair, there's also a second level with a fully functional camp stove and fire pit. The cabin itself sits almost directly above the marina for those who'd like to go boating or fishing, and the part of the lake accessed for this cabin is also access to the swimming part of this lake as well. And this is all before you leave the cabin! The drive to Lubbock is so short and straightforward, there's really nothing more you could ask for. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back here soon.
