This redecorated and updated lakefront townhouse is just perfect for those seeking fun, relaxation and solitude on beautiful Lake Chatuge in the heart of the North Georgia mountains. There are awesome views of Lake Chatuge and the surrounding mountains from both levels.
Walk just a view steps from your backdoor and you are on the large community dock which is great for fishing, swimming or sunbathing. Then just a short walk of a few blocks and you are in the Hiawassee, Georgia downtown shopping district. A short car ride puts you within easy access to the Appalachian Trail, waterfalls, golf courses, bike/hiking trails, spas and much more.
The unique property is situated on a point of land that juts out just a few yards from Lake Chatuge's main channel. There are both short and long-range views of a protected nature preserve where deer and bald eagles have been occasionally spotted. During summer months you can view a variety of watercraft as they past right in front of you.
This unit is fully equipped with a full kitchen with all new appliances, linens, bedding; three flat screen TVs a washer/dryer and high speed internet. Summary: All worked well. Great bed, very caring owner. Well stocked and perfect location for us. Quick drive or walk to everything. The one full Bath is very nice and is a ack & Jill style. This was perfect for 3 adults. Stairwell was somewhat scary as the treads are short. You must use the stairwell since the bedrooms are downstairs.
