Positive: Everything about the property was perfect. The layout was perfect for our family. When our kids weren’t downstairs in their own area they were right across the street at the pool. The screened in back porch was great to relax in the evenings and listen to nature in the woods behind us. The front porch was perfect in the morning to sip coffee and watch the sunrise. The open kitchen, dining, and living room layout was great for the whole family to be together while my wife and I were cooking dinner.
Negative: The amount of cobwebs from the ceilings and window sills coming down to fixtures, pictures, and the WiFi router, and modem. It didn’t appear the beds have been looked under or drawers in the dresser for that matter for a long while, because their was visible mouse droppings in the dresser drawers, there was also mouse droppings in the provided cookware under the cabinets. My wife swears the red stain on the couch downstairs is a period stain, and she grossed out a bit. I personally don’t know what it is. The pillows were covered in slobber stains which could be swapped out pretty cheaply for future visitors. The provided name of the contact person if we needed anything informed me he hadn’t been involved with the property for over a year when I called him to ask where the dumpster was located so I could take our trash out. He was kind though and answered my question. I just think for the almost $2k spent for the week the property would have been more ready for our families arrival, and our contact person would have been updated.
