4 Bedroom House in Bracey

The Lake Escape is a newly fully renovated 4 bedroom home with amazing panoramic main lake views and in ground pool. Every inch of this home has been just remodeled with designer high end finishes.
The main floor features a large living room perfect for hanging with family and friends, large dining room with seating for 12, sunroom, 1/2 bath, laundry room with a shower stall and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with all large and small appliances, serve-ware, cookware, and ample storage for food. It also features brand new Thermador appliances and a large eat-at island with seating for 6.
The dining area features a wine and coffee bar with all the amenities and a 30” wine and beverage fridge. The dining table is 10 ft long with room for 12. We also have a high chair provided.
The sunroom is the perfect place to lounge with a cup of coffee in the morning, do a puzzle or play a game, and unwind with a glass of wine or cocktail in the evening.
The master bedroom is also on the main floor with a large closet and bathroom with a large shower and soaking tub.
There are also 2 decks off the main floor with seating, table and chairs and a gas grill. They provide a convenient place to enjoy a meal and sunrises and sunsets.
The basement features another full kitchen with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. It also has 2 full baths (one with a tub), 3 bedrooms and a bonus room. There is a bunk room with 3 sets of twin bunk beds, 1 bedroom with 2 queens, and 1 king bedroom. The bonus room has a large smart TV, fireplace, plenty of seating, board games and shuffleboard table.
The pool deck is the perfect place to hang out and to cool down, enjoy the game and the view! There is a covered area with a 70” TV, bluetooth speakers, a sofa and swivel chairs so everyone gets a view! Plus sun loungers, an outdoor dining area, and umbrellas. The pool itself ranges from 3-7 ft and is a great place to end and start the day.
At the lake, the boathouse has a TV, Bluetooth speakers, bar top and stools, fans, polywood chairs, swing chairs, picnic table, loungers to get your tan on, a large swim mat, 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards to enjoy. Water depth is around 9-10 ft (but does fluctuate slightly) and there is a jumping platform from the upper deck for the daredevils in the group to attempt. Boats are able to tie up using the wake watchers on the left side of the boathouse. We also have applied for a boathouse fishing permit so anyone can fish from there without needing a license! Depending on the time of year, you can have sunrise and sunset views from the boathouse.
Added conveniences: Thermador gas 6 burner range, 30” beverage center and wine fridge, high chair and pack n play for the little one, wagon to transport items to and from the boathouse, board games to entertain every age group, shuffleboard table, 6 smart TVs throughout (2 outdoors), Bluetooth speakers at pool deck and boathouse, 2 kitchens with full size appliances, ample eating and seating for meals and relaxing, outdoor covered seating areas, Wake Watchers to park boat, large swim mat, paddle boards, kayaks, EV charging outlet for electric car (bring your own charger), community boat ramp to get your boat or jet skis in and out easily, Holly Grove Marina is right around the corner for gas and other needs. Conveniently located to several local restaurants and other basic needs.

Summary: The house, layout, and atmosphere was perfect for our small work group to host a retreat. We were able to have multiple places to collaborate, the Wifi and technology were great for our work needs, and the kitchen was more than accommodated for meals.

Summary: We were able to have a wonderful week which was to have originally been spent on Lake Lure. We continue to be prayerful for the struggles in Western NC, but are thankful for the time that we were able to spend on Lake Gaston.

Summary: Our group had a wonderful stay at this beautifully updated property. We had 3 families of 4, including 6 teenagers. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do between the lake, pool, and lounge space.The kids loved jumping off the top tier of the boathouse.The path to the lake is steep but wasn't an issue for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked and beds were comfy. The homeowner was very responsive - before our arrival and while at the house. It was our first time visiting Lake Gaston and we hope to visit again!

Summary: The Lake Escape did not disappoint! We truly had a get away while we stayed here. Time to rest, relax and be refreshed taking in the breathtaking views and enjoying all the comforts of home. Lake Escape provides all one could need for a week or more away. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have come across in a rental. Everything was nicely labeled inside the drawer and everything was placed in areas that made sense. The bedding was comfortable for a good nights sleep. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating options to take in the lake, soak in the sun or view the clouds. Such an amazing variety of seating from loungers, to tables and chairs, & the adirondack chairs on the bottom level of the dock. The large dining room table was a hit each night as we gathered to enjoy a family meal. We were really pleased with the location of Lake Escape on the lake as we didn't experience a lot of boat traffic & had so many quiet afternoons and evenings. The location was also great to be able to easily get to things by car. The kids & adults in our group loved our time at the dock whether it was jumping off the upper level of the dock, sitting in the hammock swing or taking a paddle board out for an adventure. We enjoyed the built in speakers around the home that allowed us to connect via blue tooth & enjoy tunes. The Lake Escape was an amazing escape from the day to day grind. If you are looking for a quiet, restful, clean, organized home for your next vacation this is IT.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our lake escape! The house has a well-stocked kitchen, and we enjoyed cooking our meals there. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable, and the finishes of this house are top notch. The boat house was awesome, with the biggest draw being the platform from the top deck to jump into the lake. We also enjoyed taking the kayaks and paddle boards out and looking for turtles and otters. The lake was calm enough that even our 5 year olds could kayak on their own a little bit. The hosts could not have been more responsive or tried any harder to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We highly recommend this house if you are looking for a relaxing, stress-free vacation!!

Summary: Wow... What an amazing place for a long weekend stay. The owners were amazing to work with and our group had a great time! The house and the amenities are second to none. Very warm and welcoming. The layout is spacious and there is plenty of room for gathering and still plenty of room for all to find their own space. Would highly recommend staying at this property. We will be back!
