3 Bedroom Cottage in Grey Highlands, Flesherton

Calling all Ladies-----we have Fall weekend availability!
Bring your Girlfriends for a fun filled weekend at the Lake.
Shasta Lakefront Cottage was completed May 2023. Featuring an amazing outdoor space including a Hot Tub for 6 Guests with a view of the Lake.
The deck is 12'x20' nicely furnished to hang out and chat with a glass of wine while cooking dinner on the large BBQ.
The 8'x8' Hot Tub is beside the deck in the peaceful backyard.
Spacious Fire Pit area for 6 guests to chat and enjoy the warmth of the fire.
In the evening soak in the peace and quiet while sitting around the wood burning Fire Pit. Firewood is provided for our Guests. Outdoor blankets are available to stay warm by the fire during the chilly nights.
The Large screened in Gazebo with a table for 6 Guests a quiet bug free spot for dinners or a fantastic spot to play board games. There is a Horse Shoe set and a light up Corn Hole set for lots of outdoor fun ! This Cottage is set up for Family and Friends getaways allowing everyone to re connect and unplug.
Directly in front of the cottage take a few steps and enter our private 10 ft Lakefront where you can take a dip in the lake, drop in a kayak, 3 of them are provided for our Guests, or take the paddle board for a spin.
We provide life jackets for 6 Guests kids sizes also available.
Once you are in the lake you can paddle over to the large portion of Lake Eugenia and enjoy all is has to offer. Enjoy Fishing? Bring your fishing rod, walk for 3 minutes and fish off of the bridge.
Lake Eugenia is lowered in the Fall and Winter via the dam. The Lake is not available from Canadian Thanksgiving until after Easter. It is too shallow to use any water items.
The Cottage is located in between 2 quiet private roads. Beyond the road in back is a farmers field, you will hear the Cows moo and Roosters crow in the early morning.
This is a very quiet Country/Lake location. As soon as you drive down the tree lined lane you will start to feel at peace. The cottage has a lakeview from the Primary Bedroom and the Hot tub.
Our family home is located down the road from the cottage and we are happy to assist with anything you may need during your stay with us!
We LOVE to host Ladies Weekend Getaways in Spring and Fall. Offering a very economical vacation for your girl's group in the beautiful Grey Highlands, close to Scandinave Spa in Collingwood and Georgian Hills Winery for some tasting.
We are a Hiking destination for Guests wishing to hike the Bruce Trail. Several entry points to the Trails are minutes from the Cottage.
Grey Highlands issues a Short-Term Accommodation License to Cottage owners
wishing to rent their property, under these terms we can host 2 people per bedroom. 3 bedrooms equal 6 guests total during your stay.
Note the neighbors are close please be respectful ,outside noise must be kept to a minimum in the late evening.
Great destination for a golf getaway, several courses close to the cottage.
Tour the Grey County Waterfalls or Kayak down the Beaver River with Free Spirit Tours.
Georgian Hills Winery is close by to have a local wine and cheese tasting, book your time ahead. Thornbury is a 30 minutes drive, lots of beautiful shops and great restaurants and coffee shops.
Quick drive to Collingwood approximately 30 minutes for some retail therapy.
Collingwood offers a wonderful selection of World Class Restaurants and of course Blue Mountain Village with all of the great family activities available.
Kimberley is 10 minutes from the cottage, Hearts Restaurant is a local favorite along with Justin's Oven Pizza and the Kimberley General Store.

Summary: We stayed at Shasta cottage with our daughter and her family for an early Christmas. We live in PEI and wanted a place we could all stay. Shasta cottage is a beautiful place and we had everything we needed to do a bbq turkey dinner. The host was very nice and came to meet us the night we got there. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We rented Shasta Cottage for a girls’ getaway weekend, and it was lovely! The cottage was very clean and well-stocked with just about anything we might have needed. The space is bright, cozy, and welcoming and provided plenty of space for our group of five. The second sitting area downstairs is a lovely touch. Our group unanimously agreed that we would love to rent Shasta Cottage again.

Summary: Our group of four adults just stayed here for a week. The weather was a little rainy the first 3 days but we played board games in the gazebo, enjoyed the hot tub, and took a day trip to Collingwood to make the most of it. Last few days of gorgeous sun were even lovelier and we enjoyed some swimming, yard games and some relaxing kayak rides. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and Deb was a pleasure to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing week away, you won’t regret it.

Summary: Deb's place was immaculately clean and tidy. It wasn't a big place but all the space was highly optimized. The fridge and dishwasher are small but they are nice, high-end appliances and there is a second fridge downstairs. We enjoyed the fire pit and ate outside in the gazebo. There were 5 of us and we were very comfortable. We were even all able to go out on the water together. Deb is a friendly host and I would recommend her place to anyone.

Summary: The cottage was VERY clean and well stocked - has everything you could want for your stay (dishes, glassware, towels, sheets, etc). Great property with a hot tub and big backyard with firepit. The lake was beautiful but unfortunately there was an algae bloom during our stay (we didn’t know until after we arrived) and so we couldn’t enjoy the water as much as we had hoped. Luckily we had some activities planned in nearby Collingwood to keep us busy. Overall great place and happy with our stay!

Summary: Our family enjoyed beautiful Shasta cottage very much. It was extremely clean & had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated. Very spacious for 3 couples. We enjoyed cooking good food on the bbq & in the beautiful, fully stocked kitchen. Loved eating our meals in the enclosed gazebo. We enjoyed the comfortable patio chairs & lawn chairs in backyard. Sat on the dock & enjoyed paddle boarding. Enjoyed the clean & spacious hot tub while watching stars. Enjoyed the firepit & Muskoka chairs (even cozy blankets are provided for cool nights). Beds, sheets & pillows were spotless & so comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided. Loved the quiet, peaceful setting. We had a fun but relaxing weekend. Communication with owner, Deb was great. She’s thought of every detail to make a memorable, fun & comfortable stay. Check-in/check-out was easy. Would definitely recommend staying here. Would give the rating over 5 stars if I could! Thank you Deb!
