Summary: The cabin was just like the picture. We had a wonderful time. The lake was about 2 minute away. I caught a few catfish and crappies. Did not get a chance to fish at pond. I will definitely stay again. There was 1 spider that tried to ruin the trip lol but I took care of it.

Summary: We enjoyed our relaxing stay for the weekend. We had everything we needed to be comfortable while still having a glamping feel. Lisa was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. Wish the pond would have been full when we stayed but this drought has been horrible for everyone. East Texas had a little more green than DFW which was refreshing to see. Overall my son had fun fishing at Lake Fork and good experience for us as a family!

Summary: My son (14), his friend (13) and I enjoyed our stay in cabin #1. The boys said they would stick me with the pull out bed, but honestly it was the most comfortable pull out I've ever slept on- not bar! The cabin was just enough room for all of us. The kitchen has basic tools including sauce pans and frying pans which weren't of much us to us because there isn't anything to cook on. We may have been able to use the grill if it hadn't been so windy. We made pizza in the toaster oven and breakfast in the microwave. They boys caught several fish from "our" side of the pond. Captain crabby pants from the other side of the pond made it very clear that his side is private property. It is posted, but we thought it was posted by the campground. I would stay there again, it was a good home base for the locations we explored. It would have been nice to know where the sister location is that has the pool and billiards table in case we needed some to kill.
