Summary: We have stayed at Heidi’s property before, years ago, and it’s just as we remembered and with some updates. The cottage, lake, lake toys etc make for such a special getaway. Heidi went above and beyond to recognize a birthday for us and was attentive and thoughtful through the whole process . It’s a dream of a property.

Summary: We had an amazing time at this house. Perfect location that is far away enough for peace and quiet but it's also close enough to call an Uber and get anywhere you'd like to go. We really enjoyed the fireplace inside and spent many nights on that screened porch. Will be back for sure!

Summary: Charming cozy lake house. Visited in winter. Fireplaces and ambiance were great with plenty of space for the family . Owner was extremely nice and responsive. Look forward to visiting in summer

Summary: My sons who love to fish (learned from Dad) and I stayed for weekend. We have family in the area. They were up at 6:00 am to kayak and fish on the peaceful clean lake! Lake is small but pristine...lots of fish. Family visited, cousins fished and kayaked too......Lots of laughter and pure joy! Such a peaceful place!

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful time renting this cottage. We were coming to the area for the patriots/cowboys game and decided to make it a long weekend. We have used, and enjoyed homeaway before and decided to try it again. We are glad we did. The cottage is at the bottom of a small gravel hill so be prepared for that. We kind of figured it would be off road so we took my jeep. So no problem there. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The cottage is very charming and sits right on the water. The owners, Heidi & Steve have done an awesome job of making the place warm, cozy, and inviting. We arrived on a sunny day in November so it was wonderful to relax on the enclosed front porch with the heater on wrapped in one of the many blankets they provided and watch the sun go down over the water. Perfect start to a relaxing weekend. Later we rode to Boston and checked out the sites there. Was nice to leave the city and come back to a nice quaint place. Sunday (game day) was pouring rain so after enjoying breakfast at a nice little diner named nicki's right down the road we stayed in and enjoyed the warmth of the cottage until time to go. The stadium is about 4 miles from the cottage so it is in a great place. I would recommend taking an uber to the game as traffic is crazy. I would also recommend leaving no later than 2 hours before game time to ensure you beat traffic and get into the stadium on time. As I said earlier, it was pouring so was awesome to come home, relax, and dry our clothes in the dryer on site. The cottage has plenty of room and amenities for a larger family. Looking forward to coming up in the summer so that we can enjoy sleeping in the beds on the upstairs balcony. My family loved staying there. Could go on but, if your looking for a nice cozy escape from the hustle of everyday life this is the place. We will be back!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to come back to California!! It was our first trip to the Boston, MA area and the fall colors were absolutely amazing. This is an ideal location for a New England Patriots game as well, only minutes from the stadium. The drive to Boston is about an hour, but worth the drive to be on the lake. The listing and pictures are 100% accurate. The only complaint is it needs some basic maintenance repairs, such as paint and hardware.

Summary: Overall, we were pleased with the property. I did feel that there should be better information regarding the driveway/access to the property. We did not arrive until 11pm at night, the street and property were not well lit and we were very unsure of the safety of the vehicle down a very uneven, unpaved road. Additionally, many of the recreatiaonal activities listed were null and void because the equipement was fautly. The neighbors-the Millers were AMAZING and lent us 3 fishing poles for my sons and my husband to use. The DVD player that is there is also missing the power cord. The pictures of the house are a little misleading in the fact that the rooms are much smaller than they appear on the website. I am only sharing this feedback for your benefit for future renters. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation with our family and we made memories to last a lifetime. We were pleased with the location, scenery and house. Summary: We had an amazing time at the lake house. The house itself is full of charm, with everything you need to enjoy the lake : pedal boat and 3 canoës! Lake Archer is beautiful. The hosts are really helpful and reactive. The little one as well as the teenagers enjoyed the place too. We would come back anytime. The house and the lake must be great in winter too!!
