Summary: This property was better than we could have imagined. The house was wonderful - perfectly decorated, cozy, extremely clean and full of everything we could possibly need during out stay. The location is quiet and gorgeous, and the lake was clean and peaceful. We swam and kayaked but could see that the fishing would have been great as well, as we saw many fish! The owner was great at communicating with us prior to our stay. I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time and cannot think of a single bad thing to say about our stay! We will definitely be back!

Summary: The property was exactly as described. We really enjoyed the views and had fun fishing off the dock. The weather did not cooperate with us for a lot of time in the water or out on the lake, but we made the most of walking the area and visiting he surrounding towns . We also enjoyed watching the local loons and listening to them throughout our stay.

Summary: We enjoyed a very relaxed extended weekend on an almost secluded lake. This house is very clean and in a perfect setting. We made good use of the kayaks and intertubes, grilled out and had a nice fire.

Summary: Plan on staying in and cooking unless you enjoy driving 15-20 miles to eat, most evening restaurants dont open until thursday and then may not be open call ahead. If you enjoy fishing, swimming kayaking and quiet you have found your nirvana

Summary: Very clean, modern, well-stocked house. Lake is gorgeous...clear and wonderful to swim right off the dock! The one thing that would hinder us from booking again is the very bright street light that is right on the property, above the fire pit. Unfortunately it cannot be turned off and it really killed the ambiance and enjoyment of sitting around the fire at night. We'd have a lovely fire going, but once the light came on, it was hard to enjoy. You couldn't even see the night sky. Also, it lights up the inside of the house like a Christmas tree. Would be great if owners could figure out a way to remove this light and put one in that can be turned on & off. Other than that everything was SPECTACULAR! Very quiet property, very quiet lake, big enough for boating/tubing.

Summary: We had a great time in and on the water. The lake is clean, clear and warm. Nice and sandy. The house is so cute, clean, and well appointed. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Summary: This is a gem of a property! Location was perfect and quiet. So many amenities provided (above and beyond)...you do not find that at many Vrbo rentals. Bev was great at answering questions and was so friendly. The house has been updated and is decorated so cute! We just loved it here and will definitely be back! Thank you Bev!

Summary: Other reviewers noted that the photos don't do it justice. I'd say that's a massive understatement. The home and the property are stunning in every way. Every detail is so well-done and thought out. The vibe is wonderfully woodsy lakehouse, and all of the furniture and amenities are modern-day. In fact, seems like the house might be new or newly renovated, and either the owners have exceptional taste or the place was professionally decorated. We had planned all sorts of outings, but instead we stayed on the property most of the time. When we first pulled into the driveway, we saw a deer we were certain was fake. Nope. Turns out she lives in the 'hood; we saw her every day. We also saw large turtles, loons, a huge owl, and more. The sounds at night are wonderful! We cooked on the grill and had fires every night. In the daytime we fished off the dock (caught lots of bluegills!), rode our bikes, chatted and read on the patio--after sleeping in on the comfy bed. Uncharacteristically, we both slept great every night! The open-plan kitchen and living room are beautiful and so comfortable, with windows on three sides and gorgeous views of the lake. Even the basement is spotless. The lake is clear and the sunsets ... I must have taken 50 photos! Bev is very gracious, helpful, and responsive. We left three days and I'm still sad--can't wait to go back!
