The Lily Pad Lake House is located on Buck Lake, a all sports lake, in Hamburg Township, MI where you can enjoy the walk out beach, weather permitting, after all it’s Michigan, go fishing or ice fishing, relax at the campfire or take advantage of the local Lakeland State Trails that are located nearby for hiking, bicycling, and wheelchair use.
We are located 14 miles from the U of M Stadium (The Big House) in Ann Arbor. Approx. 17 minutes to the Outlet mall in Howell and just down the road is Zukey Lake Tavern.
The Lily Pad Lake House is a single story year round home with 2 bedrooms, a queen bed in each bedroom, 1 twin roll away, 1 twin pull out in living room , and 1 bath. All linens are provided. Remodeled, fully equipped kitchen with a Reverse Osmosis system, dishwasher and microwave. Utility room has full size washer/dryer. House is clean and recently updated. Newly installed central air ready for a hot summer.
There is wireless internet with a Smart TV in living area where you can stream your service. Bedrooms have Blu-ray players. Two of the three TV’s also are hooked to a house antenna. WiFi extender also in the lakeside bedroom for your tablet or other devices.
Enjoy Barbecuing, on a propane gas grill, on the deck while you enjoy the view of the water. Patio set seats six.
This is a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. If you’re looking to party all night, this isn’t for you. No pitching tents. No EVENTS or Parties!
Quiet time starts at 10 P.M. DAILY! Please be respectful of the neighbors.
The lake is shallow at the entrance so NO Diving off the dock allowed! The dock is removed for the Winter season. The lake is treated twice a year, not by us personally, to help control Algae/Seaweed.
No sleeping in the laundry room due to natural gas appliances.
Cleaning is done prior to guests arriving, not while guests are staying.
Garage is excluded from rental.
The owner is available by text or phone, and lives in the area. You will, however, let yourself in via Lockbox (code will be sent same day as check in), and be on your own unless you need something.

Summary: This was a great place to spend a long weekend while visiting our son at U of M and going to a game in the Big House. The home is beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and the location on the lake is relaxing and peaceful. Michelle was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Summary: Overall this place is fantastic! Definitely as shown in pictures and from other reviews. Would stay again! Would say if you have 6 people coming in 6 different cars it wouldn’t be possible to park all cars on property three cars was tight. They do make that note but think it’s important to say again. If you are looking for a place to swim right off the dock, it could work but it is full of seaweed, didn’t bother us because we just fished but if you’re looking for a clear place to swim, this is not the place. Good location and had everything you needed!

Summary: The house was perfect for us. It nice to have a place to host a small brunch and dinner with friends for my daughter’s graduation and close enough to get to Ann Arbor without any trouble. Just wish the weather were warmer and we had more time to enjoy the lake and lovely setting. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend!
