3 Bedroom Cottage in Effingham

Welcome to lake sara where everything is beautiful! Enjoy all we have to offer right on the lake. We have an outdoor eating area both upstairs and downstairs! A fire pit to hang out around with wood provided. We also have a grill you can use. By the boat house, we have a bar area and bathroom.
Upstairs include 3 bedrooms, a nice sized living room, and a full basement that has tons of sleeping room. Upstairs in the main bedroom we have a queen size bed with a desk area, in bedroom 2 there is a queen size bed along with a futon, and lastly in bedroom 3 there is a full size bed. In the basement we have 1 full, and 3 twins. There are also blow up air mattresses that can be used. Enjoy while you can!
We are right on Moccasin Road so it is very easy to get to and from town. Shopping is only 7 minutes away and gas is 3 minutes away! There are multiple golf courses in our area as well. On the lake there are 2 restaurants you can go too, they are called Heron Cove and Pinky’s. Pinky’s also has a bar on the water! Lastly, you can take a trip to Lake Sara beach and spend time on the sand or at the playground. There is so much to see!

Summary: Stayed here with my 3 kids and my sister and a couple of her adult kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. All the kids were able to stay in the basement and have their own bed. The kitchen was well stocked, with everything we needed to cook. Our favorite part was the dock and little bar area. The kids loved jumping into the lake from the dock and it was so peaceful in the little cove. There were a few minor issues, but owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay. Your home was perfect for our short stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. The decor in your home is really cute. We didn’t use very much except the refrig and the microwave once and my husband liked your shower. We only used the main bedroom but liked the soft and comfy mattress. We did spend most of Saturday sitting down at the boat house fishing. We caught several small catfish and a few blue gill. There was a nice breeze and having the restroom so close was very handy. I can definitely see us renting here again. Thank you so much!
