Summary: We were visiting family in the area and this was the perfect “home” base. The cabin was immaculate. It IS small, but perfect as we were running around all over most days. The neighborhood is quiet and we even had some friend neighbor dogs that came to visit each day. We had bonfires and enjoyed the view. All in all just perfect.

Summary: Nice little cottage to stay for a couple nights. Description is deceiving. Cabin is located in the front side yard of the main house. Would have to share yard and fire pit with the main house renters and cabin does not have a view of the water. But for the price it is good. There is access to the water for Kayaking. We would return since it was so clean.

Summary: We are frequent visitors to the Newberry, Copper Harbor and Ontonagon areas, but this was our first trip to this side of the UP that wasn't a weekend at Straits SP. The owner sent an AMAZING list of what to expect and what she expected a week or so before our trip, which I appreciated tremendously. We tend to pack as much adventure into our trips as possible because every area of Michigan has so much to offer and explore. We often look for a place that's small and simple that is clean, has a comfy bed to sleep on and a warm shower in the morning. This cabin fit our needs perfectly.

Summary: A beautiful location with a great view from the lakeside. Drive 30 minutes east to Drummond Island Ferry, or 30 minutes north to Sugar Island Ferry. The Les Cheneaux island area is beautiful in its own right as well. The cabin was clean and cute and had everything needed for a long weekend stay. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely recommend this location as a reasonable priced stay in a beautiful area. We even enjoyed watching the freighter and train from the gravel mine across the bay.
