Positive: Beautiful well-maintained oasis in the middle of the (also beautiful) arid landscape at the south end of Lake Natron and with a great view towards Ol Doinyo Lengai. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, and excellent cooks preparing a very tasty breakfast and dinner. Exceptionally well-behaved, quiet, and friendly dogs and cats keep the area free of small critters (and won't bother you, if you're not a cat/dog person) - while security makes you feel very safe inside the lodge area at night. We didn't try the pool, but that is also clearly kept meticulously fresh and clean. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in one of the couches after dark enjoying the stunning dark sky stars. A short walk from the lake itself.
Negative: Can't think of anything.
Summary: Stunningly beautiful, well-managed, magical place

Positive: Had a lovely stay! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The common area is nice, and both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable. It's a great stopover for visiting the lake, the nearby waterfall, and hiking the volcano—just be aware that the hike is quite challenging!
Negative: The rooms can get a bit warm, and staying in a tent can be more challenging. They also have issues with card payments, so make sure to bring plenty of cash for the hotel and activities
Summary: lovely stay

Positive: Beautiful area with mountain views, food was lovely and service was excellent. Their guides really made us feel at home. Make sure to bring insect repellent!
Negative: It gets really hot in the room and is difficult during the day without the fan if there's a power outage, which seems to happen often.
Summary: Beautiful compound and lodge, but be prepared for the heat

Positive: The area was beautiful and the garden was well-kept. Beds in the tent were comfortable and the shower had pressure (no hot water though). In the end they drove us to the bus stop free of charge!!! At this point, we found it unbelievable (read below)
Negative: 1. Hidden fees. From previous reviews we saw that the staff didn't let guests know beforehand about all the extra fees for entering the area and hiking the volcano. It seemed like they had learned from that and messaged us everything (??) in detail before we arrived... However, an hour before we left to go up the volcano they told us we need to pay $100 for a car to take us to where the trail starts. They never told us about that even though we had already told them we wanted to go and were not coming by car. We bargained down to $70 which is still an extortionate amount for the 14km trip. 2. Restaurant. Food was quite decent but we only had breakfast included in our booking hoping to order things from the restaurant. There was no menu - if you want, you can pay 37500 TSH for an enormous 5-course meal (both for lunch and dinner). We couldn't just order a salad (which was part of the set meal). 3. We were planning on going to Lake Natron which was $20/person according to their initial message. However, this again didn't include transport but we could walk 90min there. The whole 'tour' does not include anything but a bit of walk around the lake. The logical question was why do we need a guide at all (the area is very flat so would be difficult to get lost) and the answer was he was experienced (in what?) and we would also be helping the community (common theme in their money shenanigans) 4. More hidden fees when you pay. Randomly at the end we were also presented with a service tax of $6 (cause why not) and some other calculation 'errors' for a dollar or two which, upon being pointed at, were explained as 'but for the community'. Not huge but just left a bitter aftertaste.
Summary: Hidden fees, new edition

Positive: We booked a tent, so we did not expect anything beyond that. Yet the facilities, especially the shared shower, were at an absolute minimum of acceptability. Besides that, the food was nice, and the staff was comforting. The pool was… well, there is a pool, and at this location, that is itself an achievement.
Negative: What we really did not like was a 15 USD hikers breakfast per person which was neither sufficient nor worth the money in any kind.
