White Pines Estates is a gated community on Mara Lake, in Sicamous B.C. Advantages of being in Sicamous is a short 10 min. Walk (3 min drive) to downtown, ice cream, groceries, restaurants and liquor stores. Beautiful sandy beach with swim platform, dock and boat slip - hard to find on the best lake in the Shuswaps. We own a duplex (both sides) in the second row from the lake-view to the lake and the largest grass space in the community. You just have to bring your bedding/towels, everything else is there for you to enjoy. Business License #333

A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 CAD is due immediately.
Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies.
NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless.

Snow Mobil access to the best mountains in BC is 5 min. drive.
Property is not near a ski resort.

Summary: We rented this right after Christmas for snowmobiling with friends and family. Unfortunately the weather was very cold, so we didn't play as much as we had hoped. Therefore, we stayed inside more than planned. The condo was comfortable. Beds were comfortable, place was warm. The livingroom is upstairs in the loft, so had to climb spiral staircase to get there. We had to bring all bedding and towels. We had minor issues that were resolved. Overall, small and comfortable condo for four people and a baby.

Summary: Cute and convenient place to stay … close to downtown. We were on the water all day but came back in the evenings to eat and sleep. The space worked well for us :)

Summary: The property has everything you need, super comfortable, clean and a few steps to a beautiful beach. Everyone is friendly around you and there are lots of places to walk and bike too. We intend to be back soon

Summary: The property was very clean when we arrived. Even though the owner told me they don't normally rent out in the winter she gave me clear instructions of how to turn on the water and everything worked out good that way. The internet worked great, the TV only worked on select channels but I believe that was a service provider issue and not to be because of the owner. Overall I would recommend anyone who is looking to stay in Sicamous consider staying here especially if you are a summer traveler. It has great access to the lake with the gated community having its own beach only a couple hundred feet from the patio. If you plan on staying here during the winter as a snowmobiler sadly there isn't really room for a trailer but all I had was a sleddeck and was able to maneuver around just fine.

Summary: Property was located in a very convenient location that was close to the channel and easy access to Mara Lake. Beach was nice for kids to play. Community was very family friendly and felt safe. The duplex was as advertised in pictures. No upgrades have been done, but we didn’t spend much time inside. The loft was nice for our kids. One downside is the duplex doesn’t have a living room area on the main floor, but was fine for us as there is a table on the deck that gives extra seating. Limited freezer space for our big family. Local grocery store is expensive.

Summary: no comfortable sitting area. couches in the loft are very hard and convert to a very hard bed. most comfortable chairs are on the deck. bathroom and shower in garage were great addition. we were told to bring sheets and towels but there are also no blankets for any of the beds. we had one car coming on the second day so they were able to bring us blankets, otherwise we were buying some or go without. air conditioner in loft can be heard all night in lower bedroooms and bedroom walls are paper thin. can hear each other talking easily.
