The Riverside is an ideal waterfront condo centrally located in Sicamous. We offer a safe, barrier free and fun environment for all ages in all seasons. Out location is a 5-minute walk to multiple amenities including the public beach, shopping and restaurants but far enough away from the hub of activity to have some peace and quiet. In the summer months, the rental comes with a designated boat slip in a recently installed new private dock on "The Narrows" providing access to both Mara Lake and Shuswap Lakes for hours of boating and fishing pleasure. There are plenty of business in town that offer a variety of water craft to fit any budget. Alternatively, you can just relax by the pool or hot tub and watch the boats go by from May to Sept
Any season is a good time to rejuvenate at the local spa, cuddle up with a good book or initiate a romantic evening by the fireplace. Various points of interest surrounding the scenic mountain terrain offer diverse adventures in: Wine tours+ World class golf+ Nature walks and hiking+ Whitewater rafting and zip lines+ Off road, all terrain vehicle expeditions+ Lake and stream fishing+ Down hill and cross country skiing+ Snow shoeing and sledding.
We are nestled in the interior of Beautiful British Columbia where opportunities to explore are endless. Situated on the crystal clear lakes of the Shuswap that span an impressive 89km/55miles there are over 17 villages and towns that flank the Shuswap waterways. In addition there are numerous larger urban centres such as Revelatoke, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops within an hours drive all with their own unique points of interest and charm. Salmon Arm is only 20 minutes and provides access to almost all that a Big City would offer. Sicamous is almost half way between Calgary and Vancouver. Many of our guest rent as a perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. It is a town of less than 3000 people where the average person can walk the entire circumference within an hour or two. Most guests visit the famous Dutchman Dairy and buy locally grown fruit and vegetable across the street.
We are a working middle class, middle age couple who love to share our accommodations with others when we can't be here to enjoy the place. All of the amenities and consumables "just like home" are here for you, right down to the coffee and ketchup. We just ask that if you use the last of it you replace it.

Summary: This condo was in an excellent location, the kitchen is well stocked and it very clean on arrival. The marina is nice as well. The condo was larger than we expected based on the photos. Holly communicated well prior to and during our stay. It’s not the Ritz…so don’t expect that, but it is a convenient home base for your next Sicamous vacay.

Summary: Holly and Daryl and fantastic hosts! Very detailed information provided before arriving. Property grounds were incredible and as described. Holly & Daryl have fully stocked the condo with everything one would need. Hundreds of books and movies available during rainy days. Well kept unit and extremely clean. Would instantly book again on my next visit!

Summary: This was the perfect rental for me, my husband and daughter along with my mom and dad. The second bedroom is off the main bedroom, but it is also accessible through the patio, so that’s how we accessed it to provide privacy. There are so many pots, pans, and dishes that we could make everything we wanted. It’s a quick walk or less than two minute drive to the grocery and liquor store, the pool was great, and the unit was clean and the building quiet. There is no beach access, but it’s also a short walk away. We can’t wait to come back!

Summary: Overall, this condo is suited for one couple or a couple with kids as the second bedroom is accessed off the main bedroom. There was an abundance of dishes and pots and pans; almost too much as there was little space left for our food. Same for the bedroom, very little room for our clothing as the dressers were full of bedding and stuff. The complex is very clean and quiet and the location is great. We would definitely come again.

Summary: As our stay was during the off season, it was very quiet. With it being the off season(a little early) means the pool and hot tub have been shut down. This was a big disappointment for us. The condo was clean, but dated, great for parents with a couple of kids. Not so great for two travelling companions requiring two beds, as the second bedroom was off the main bedroom, containing beds meant for children. There is no cable or satellite, and the technology is outdated. The property owner was very accommodating with making up the difference for the lack of amenities. Our favourite place to eat was Joe Smuck's Road House. Food was home made and very good. The service was excellent.
