Our Lake House is a cozy 1,500 sq ft new construction built Summer 2012 located on scenic Lake St. John near Ferriday, Louisiana. Perfect for a family vacation or a quiet weekend getaway, this 3 bedroom/2 full bath home is fully equipped to meet all your vacation needs. Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds with closets and one bedroom has bunk beds with a closet.
Kitchen and living room are in an open floor plan. Living room has a leather couch that converts to a queen size bed, brand new LCD TV.
Kitchen has all stainless steel appliances.
Step outside on to a long relaxing porch with fans just a few steps away from beautiful Lake St. John. Enjoy your morning sunrise, afternoon breeze, and BEAUTIFUL evening sunset on the large, furnished, covered swim dock located at the end of the pier.
Natchez, MS is 20 minutes away and is one of the top tourist attractions in Mississippi. You'll find antebellum homes, museums, and shopping, as well as a number of other attractions. Natchez is home to the Natchez Festival of Music, The Great Mississippi River Hot Air Balloon Festival, The Natchez Food & Wine Festival, among others scheduled throughout the year. The Delta Music Museum is located nearby, as is Frogmore Cotton Plantation and Winterquarters.

Summary: We enjoyed the hot tub and the dock. House was clean. I didn’t know it was a duplex until right before we got there but no one was in the other side. I did not like the Vrbo app it was not user friendly but the property owners can’t help that. The price was fair.

Summary: This property was perfect for our family, us and three kids. It was perfectly clean and cozy. They provide towels, trash bags, paper towels and the owners are very sweet. Pier is nice and sturdy and there’s a boat house and a swim deck that was under water just because the water is high this time of year. We had a little trouble when we got there because it wasn’t unlocked yet but the nice neighbors called for us and got them to come unlock it. That was just a miscommunication. They had not gotten a notification that we rented it. When we were there the hot tub was out of commission but I’m sure they’ve had it fixed by now. They were just waiting on parts. Other than those two things the house was great and the owners are great too. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to get in that hot tub!

Summary: Out the front door is an awesome view of the country farm lands and levee then you walk out to the back yard and dock to a beautiful view of the lake. Will definitely be back!
