Summary: The location is superb, minutes from town with a private white sand beach just steps away. Host Heather M. was gracious and helpful, accommodating our constantly changing flight schedule that resulted from the CrowdStrike computer debacle. The cabin itself is small and very tight. For example, our kingsize bed filled the main bedroom from wall to wall. And one must pass through the second bedroom to get to the main bedroom. On a brighter note, the cabin provides an authentic U.P. camp experience, and there are a brand new washer and dryer in the basement.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at the cabin on Lake Superior. The beach is sandy, with lots of space for walking. Cleanliness, quiet, and comfortable beds are important to us and the cabin checked all the boxes for those. Linens were very nice. You get both the sunrise and the sunset which we loved. Our host Heather was attentive, efficient, and friendly, never intrusive. It’s a winner!
