2 Bedroom House in Lake Tarawera

"Up market" USA made large 5th Wheeler mobile home well set up on large park like surrounds close to Lake Tarawera. A short drive (1.7ks) down to the Landing to launch your boat along with the Landing Cafe who deliver the best steaks! Or use our twin grill BBQ to do your own on the deck. The caravan has a good sized fridge and freezer, central heating and air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and outside bathroom, toilet equipped with washing machine dryer etc. There is the one main bedroom with a queen sized bed, plus a fold out couch that makes a second queen double bed.
Sky TV is in place so you can keep up with the Super 15 Rugby etc!
The outside area has a large deck with an extendable awning that will cover this to provide shade or shelter. There is a spa pool located on the lower deck.
Plenty of secure space on the property to park your boat with some undercover storeage possible. (Talk to Norman....direct if you like)
Toileting is at the additional external bathroom see images (shower, toilet, vanity with a washing machine & dryer,) and an extra fridge/freezer are available in an adjacent garage for guests use.

THERE HAS BEEN A 7M WIDE TIPI ADDED TO THE SITE AND THIS HAS INCREASED OUR ABILITY TO HOST ANOTHER 4+ GUESTS. (THERE IS AN EXTRA PER HEAD COST OF $35 PER NIGHT) OVER THE WINTER MONTHS FROM MAY UNTIL NOVEMBER WE DECOMMISSION THE TIPI AS IT CAN BE COLD AND FROSTY IN OUR REGION. THE TIPI DURING REALLY HEAVY RAIN IS SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE OCCASIONAL RAIN DROPS BUT WE DO SUPPLY COVERS FOR THE BEDS IN THIS EVENT.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. Great place to just unwind and relax, very quiet and perfect for star gazing in the hot tub. Very neat, clean and surprisingly spacious caravan. Additional bathroom is an added bonus with great water pressure and hot water. Norman is a fantastic host. He is very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend it if you want a break and time away from the city.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay, it is located in a picturesque part of NZ.Great communication and it was a pleasure to deal with Norman! Everything was neat and tidy! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend close to all the beautiful lakes just outside of Rotorua.

Summary: A perfect place to retreat to after an action packed day exploring. Everything had been thought of in this unique glamping experience and the peaceful, beautiful setting was just what we were looking for. Away from the crowds, set amongst bush and birds song with plenty of space to play with the kids, super comfy beds and toasty warm accommodation . The spa pool was an extra treat to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back!

Summary: We had a fantastic time at this property. The RV was huge and a really high spec. The tipi was also huge and a great play space for the kids. The land around the accommodation was perfect for kicking a ball around or playing with Norman’s two lovely sweet natured dogs. It’s a great spot any time of the year - the RV’s heating wasn’t incredible and necessary on those chilly evenings. I can imagine summer being fantastic too. So close to Lake Tarawera, Buried Village and a really short drive to the Redwoods and town. We’d love to head bsck again.
