Summary: We would stay here again! As noted above, the Lake Views were stunning, plenty of room on the deck for our picnics, umbrella there, which was needed with that heat of the day...even in June!! We walked down the road to visit with our family, who own a cottage to the North on Lake 13! Nice to drive into Clare, see the Vintage Doherty Hotel>

Summary: Excellent visit. House is gorgeous! Lake is so beautiful and the house windows had us on the lake even inside. Outside seating was perfect - sunny upstairs and shady and cool downstairs. Kitchen had everything we needed and bathrooms had plenty of towels and supplies. Host was very responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay here again!!

Summary: Lake Thirteen Retreat is everything that they say that it is and more! It is obvious the homeowner loves making her guests comfortable. I am picky when it comes to mattresses and bedding. Out of all of the places we have stayed, this one takes the cake! The floor plan, the decor, the amenities are perfect for this space. The property is beautiful and I must add the fishing was awesome. We want to thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home and property. We would give this 10 Stars if we could.
