If you're coming to Austin, you need to check us out. Peak Lookout is special! Our home is very open and bright with incredible views. An entertaining haven! We are close to all the activities but you have a very private feel. Not to mention your very own exclusive pool & hot tub. Many dining options within 5 minutes. At night you can see all the lake Travis city lights. The home sits on one of the highest points in Travis county & on clear days you can see for miles. Especially from the second story balcony. Our home has 2 very private and separate suites, one on the main level and one upstairs with its own small sitting area. Please reach out to us with any questions about our home or the area. Summary: The pictures of this place are wonderful, but walking into it is breathtaking. In planning my wife's 40th birthday, I messaged the owners about having 16 people over one night with a private chef (a big party for us), and they gave us permission and whatever help we needed. We kept the guests staying there to the 9 required by the agreement, and there was more than enough room. We ended up having the party on the patio by the pool as the weather was so pleasant. It was a clear night and we had a great view of the valley below, which was very peaceful and quiet. The place was just as excellent as described, perched on a hill overlooking a valley, very clean, open-floor plan, great for entertaining. Beautiful master bedroom with a large bathroom and walk-in shower and separate bathtub. There were two huge walk-in closets with plenty of linens. The pool was just what we needed, and the hot-tub was perfect for hanging out in the evenings, easy to operate. We really appreciated getting to have our party there, and we appreciated how easy the owners were to work with. We would stay here again.

Summary: We had such a great time and the property is beautiful, Everything you need is right there. It’s a very well maintained home, the hot tub was awesome, we spent most of our time in the backyard and you will want to too! The owners were easy to get a hold of, quick to respond and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place

Summary: This home was perfect for our long weekend girls trip! The cleanliness, amount of space, abundance of bathrooms, and absolutely stunning outdoor space was amazing for us! The location is ideal as it sit right between downtown, the wineries, and lake Travis! 10/10 recommend

Summary: Our family of five enjoyed a weekend getaway to relax and have fun before the start of the school year. Our kids did not leave the pool the entire weekend. The patio, pool, spa, and view were all incredible! Communication with Gene was easy. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to many stores and restaurants. No problems whatsoever. We had a wonderful stay.

Summary: If you are looking for the WOW factor, check out Gene and Abby's Lake Travis Retreat. Nicely appointed. Great views. Outstanding service. You are on top of one of the highest peaks around with fresh breezes that cool down a hot summer day around the pool and hot tub. Our party of seven fit nicely at both the round kitchen table and outdoor patio table. The house has a new grill. We played games at the house and made the short 30 min drive to Lady Bird Lake to paddle board and kayak. Gene responds quickly before, during and after your visit. If you are the kind of person that enjoys a nice property with an awesome view, this property is for you. Enjoy!

Summary: Gene was an excellent host and very quick to respond all weekend! The house was beautiful and the pool was exactly what we needed in the Texas heat. The beds in every room were comfortable with great pillows. The house was perfect for our girls weekend, we hope to be back soon!

Summary: The house is absolutely wonderful. This was perfect for our quick weekend trip. The house and property are stocked with everything you need and the area is quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed time outside on the patio and in the pool. The host was so responsive to our questions and needs; one of the best hosts we have had! We would definitely stay at the property again and highly recommend it!

Summary: The house is very well furnished and comfortable. I king in the master, 2 twins in the bedroom close to the master, a queen upstairs, and a single bunk over a queen bunk in the casita. This is a very upscale house in an upscale neighborhood. Everything was fabulous, including the pool/hot tub. We all enjoyed the outdoor area and spent most of our days swimming. The owner was responsive to our every need, and went above and beyond the call of duty. We were so grateful to have someone that cared so much about needs and wants. Thank you, Gene! We will be back!

Summary: This VRBO was amazing, located in safe, secluded area of Lake Travis / West Austin with a great view, stunning pool and spacious and comfortable interiors. We came with my family - wife and two young kids, 4 & 7 plus my elderly parents and have a great time enjoying the home and pool. It is conveniently located near a bunch of scenic restaurants (The Grove is my recommendation) and amenities such as groceries stores, shopping and of course, Lake Travis. Would highly recommend. The owner of the VRBO was very easy to communicate with and very attentive. Oh more thing, the kitchen is huge and great for entertaining while meal preparing and drinking :) Thanks for having us!
