4 Bedroom House in Enchanted Hills, Syracuse

Located on channel with close, easy water access to Lake Wawasee (as close as you can get without being directly on the lake). Bring your boat. PIER & BOATHOUSE (13’ wide x 22’ long) included. Open living space with great views of the lake. PRIVATE POOL is solar heated, can be electronically heated for additional charge of $60 a night or $375 a week (when working, please know 🤷‍♀️ motors can be fussy). Pool is usually kept at 81/82 degrees when heater on. It is an above ground pool so it won’t heat well if outdoor temperature is below 74 degrees. Skimmer basket must be kept free of leaves to keep it heating properly. Pool isn't meant for jumping or diving, but is very refreshing. There are 3 DECKS and a BALCONY from loft bedroom, wood FIREPLACE and fire pit outside and gas fireplace inside. HOT TUB is outside of lower level walkout. Each floor has a full bathroom. If you’re looking for a Beautiful, quiet, peaceful space, this is it! It's Awesome!
House is very bright and sunny! When you enter, the main floor has two bedrooms (king and bunk with additional pull-out bed), a bathroom, kitchen, gas fireplace and large cathedral ceiling living room with a ROKU television and games for the family. Up the stairs is a large loft bedroom with a private balcony, Casper queen mattress on bed and pull out sofa bed (also a queen), sitting area, desk to work at and a washer dryer. Balcony has a table and chairs. It's a very open space with great views of the lake. On the lower level, the bedroom has a daybed, with a trundle bed, and a couch which walks out to the hot tub. Propane grill on main level deck and wood fireplace on the deck level below. Pool deck has zero gravity chairs. Decks have a dining table, couch and chairs. You will find the cushions in the closet in lower level bathroom (to protect from rain and falling debris).
Easy Lake access to everything lake has to offer. Bring your boat. I have a pier and boat house. There’s plenty of car and trailer parking in my lot across from house. (DO not park in next door lot.)

Kayaks, paddles and paddle boat available on property with additional waiver. Must be signed prior to arrival.
Children are welcome HOWEVER there are many hazards you must be aware of. The house is not child-proofed. There are lots of stairs and an upstairs open loft bedroom that overlooks the living room. There is a pool, hot tub, pier and the lake is steps from the house. I suggest children wear life-jackets at all times when they are not in the house.
*Pool and Hot tub will be closed prior to first frost (before October) and reopen Memorial Day. For an extra fee hot tub can be open on request prior to Memorial Day.
Kayaks, paddle boat and paddles available with additional waiver which must be signed prior to arrival. *We love good guests, and repeat guests, and offer a 10% discount to returning guests, excluding week of July 4th and Labor Day weekend. Just let me know in advance of your next booking and I’ll lower the price. 😊

Summary: We had a great time- home is large and very clean. Janine communicated and was quick to respond. We would highly recommend for a wonderful family trip. Pool was very clean, kids enjoyed the kayaks and peddle boat. Kitchen well equipped- just bring foil, baggies, paper goods etc. plenty of pots and pan, dishes, cups. We appreciated the stack of beach towels and water/dryer. Gas grill was in great shape. Pictures don’t show the size of the home- there was plenty of space to spread out which was perfect for our family.

Summary: I had to erase some of my review (all good) because I ran out of room, so I will attempt to keep it shorter. Janine went above and beyond from the moment I booked at her beautiful home. She communicated clearly and always responded to my questions quickly. It was a last minute trip for me and my family but she truly kept me up to date with everything and made the process smooth. Her home is absolutely gorgeous. The house itself is huge and decorated beautifully making it feel like a home away from home. It made all of us feel at peace. The beds are comfy, the closets are huge, washrooms with showers on each floor. Balconies on each floor with great views. Me and my little guy took the paddle boat to the opening of the lake and it’s a sight you have to see for yourself. Gorgeous. The pool was crystal clear and Janine was kind enough to turn the heater on after i originally said no. We only stayed a couple days and wanted to stay forever lol. My youngest son kept talking about coming back from the night we arrived. We shared so many laughs, so many memories for years to come. We fished, paddle boated, kayaked, swam, used the hot tub, and sat in awe at the beauty of the entire place. Do not hesitate to book here. Janine was kind, personable, and an outstanding host. Thank you Janine for letting us stay at your home. We really want to come back again and I hope to do that soon to make more memories.

Summary: This rental was absolutely perfect, clean, and beautiful! Loved the location, literally a 2 mintue channel drive to get to the lake but yet secluded to have a peaceful evening around the campfire next to the water! The pool and hot tub were perfect to helped keep the kids entertained while not on the lake and getting meals prepared! The Host and Co-Host are both great people, do a great job and do care about making your stay the best yet! I will definitely be staying here again!!
