This amazing lakefront property sits right on the edge of Pushaw Lake in peaceful Orono, Maine. Our home offers room for up to 8 guests and all the amenities you need for a perfect stay. As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the captivating views of the lake. Our home is truly a lakeside oasis, with a private dock where you can launch our canoe and three kayaks for a day on the water. Life jackets are provided for your safety. Step inside to find a comfortable living area with all the modern conveniences you could want. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals, or you can grill up a feast on the gas grill. And after a long day of outdoor adventures, you can relax in one of our four bedrooms, each with its own unique charm. Our lakefront property boasts not one, but two private beaches where you can lounge in the sun, play in the sand, or take a dip in the refreshing water. And with a private entrance, you can come and go as you please without disturbing anyone else. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are available 24/7 via messaging if you need anything, but otherwise we'll leave you in peace to enjoy your time at the lake. -We offer 24/7 messaging but cannot always offer maintenance or staff to attend after 5 pm or before 9 am. We will do our best to resolve your needs and requests as quickly as possible once we have staff available.
-We offer just about everything you need to get started such as coffee, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc but please understand we offer enough to start your trip and any extras you need you will be responsible for.
Window units will be installed by Memorial Day through the end of Sept/ early October
This unit is not baby proofed. If you need any baby proofing for your stay please be sure to bring your own devices with you.
Weekly and monthly stays are welcome.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home on the lake. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place this is it yet still convenient drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Would love to return some time again.

Summary: Check in was simple, the property was clean, it was on the water & the kids had a blast swimming and fishing! There is a nice dock. Kayaks, paddleboards, life vests included but shared with property next door...I brought my own but there was no need really. Caretaker was very responsive, picnic table broke and he built us a new one for the very next day! Cleaning lady came to check on us part way through the week to see if we needed anything. Overall, this place is just perfect for a vacation on the lake with kids or even just adults. I do wish I had brought my thermacells for the mosquitoes in the evening, they were wicked! I'd recommend doing that but otherwise everything you would need is right there. I'd absolutely book it again!

Summary: Pros- the view on the lake is beautiful, having access to the the kayaks and canoe was great, and the house was quite clean. However, when we arrived, there were a ton of bugs inside by the windows that we had to kill, but then nothing after that. Cons- The vrbo listing needs to include more detailed information. The kayaks and canoe are shared with neighbors and this was not in the listing. Management didn't seem to know this until I asked when the boats were all in use by another party. The listing says A/C but there is no A/C in the bedrooms, only the downstairs and upstairs hallway, so if you want to close your door for privacy, it gets very hot. We asked about fans and were told there were none. The water from all of the sinks has a very strong sulfur smell so we needed to buy potable water. Renters should be told this before they arrive. A couple of other things to know. There is no dishwasher. This was our fault that we assumed there would be. But if you are saying your house is big enough for 8 people, then it would be a nice thing to have. Also, for 8 people, the house is doable but tight. The bedrooms are smaller than they seem in the photos.

Summary: We had our whole family out (8 of us including kids) to visit family in Bangor. We loved the house as a whole - beautiful interior, great location, nice amenities. We would definitely go back and recommend highly.

Summary: We just returned from a 4-day stay for my son's graduation at UMaine and had the most amazing time! And it was such a nice treat instead of staying at a hotel! This property was recently renovated and is so comfortable and decorated beautifully. The lake is steps away with the most spectacular views! We were fortunate enough to have wonderful weather and spent a day fishing, (obtain your fishing license before going!) kayaking, grilling and ending the night with a fabulous fire and s'mores! . The property is centrally located to everything! The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. The property manager was so accommodating and responsive. We even met Anne from the cleaning company who went above and beyond! If you are fortunate enough to stay here, get ready for something really special!
