Summary: We stayed at the property in the middle of a”flood of the century” in the area and still had a great time. The surrounding area is beautiful and the house had a couple of kayaks,, so our brave grandsons used them on the huge lake. The beds and pillows were comfortable except for the one we called the “Mt. Everest bed” and the pull out bed in the great room. It would be helpful to have a step stool for the very high bed. Many of us were senior citizens and singles, so some of the sleeping arrangements were challenging. The kitchen amenities were great! The facilities were clean and appliances worked well. The owners were quick to respond to our needs. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Katie!

Summary: Took my kids and grandkids for a little quite getaway. This was a perfect place for us . Close to stores if we needed to go but away from the city enough that we could really unwind and relax .

Summary: This is a large home with deck spanning the waterfront of the home. The setting is beautiful in the fall with the colors changing and the mist on the lake. We had PLENTY of room for our party of 6 adults and 5 children, with more than enough coffee cups, plates, forks, cereal bowls, etc. The seating in the open living room is also comfortable and big. We put our family with the 5 kids in the downstairs with a king for the parents and queen and bunks for the kiddos, allowing them to have privacy and also noise control. It seems this home is in the beginning phases of some exterior refreshing, and that would be good. The interior has updated bathrooms and fresh paint. Overall, it was a great value and perfect for us.

Summary: Before I say anything; I want to say that the house was very nice, beautiful layout, and the lake view is gorgeous. BUT...from the beginning it was very difficult to reach the owners, the down stairs bathroom toilet did not work, living room fan didn't work, broken light fixture. There were no garbage bags, only two rolls of paper towels and no trash bin to take out the garbage to. The neighbor next door asked us if we were friends of the owners; we said no we are renting, turns out they had taken the garbage bin and overfilled it before putting it by our location mailbox. The worst thing though; was the ant infestation in the kitchen.
