Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at the Dagwood. The lake house was perfect for our 5 adults and two children (5 yo and 3 yo). It has plenty of room and all the accommodations of home. The deck is outstanding and ideal for hanging out, family time and watching all the fun in the water. The beach and swimming area are perfect for playing in the water even for the young ones. There are plenty of water toys as well as games for nighttime fun. Mick and Julie were extremely nice and responsive the few times we needed to contact them. We had a great time and would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a great family vacation on the lake.

Summary: The location was perfect for my family and I (5 adults and 5 kids). Back deck is literally steps from the water and it feels like your own private slice of paradise! Water was clear and calm with lots of beautiful sea glass to collect on the sand. The kids loved the lilypad, kayak, and paddle boards provided by owners. Owners were very responsive, especially during very unusual 29-hour power-outage resulting from a freak windstorm and were able to set up a generator so we didn’t lose our weeks worth of food in the fridge. Very friendly and wonderful hosts. Even though we had a few rough weather patches, we were able to be out on the lake at least once a day. There were also many indoor toys that the kids enjoyed during rainy moments. Hosts left a cute welcome basket for the kids upon checkin which was much appreciated. We did have issues with biting flies while outdoors on the deck so we decided to eat most of our meals indoors. But there was ample room for our large family to eat inside as the combined kitchen/dining area was very spacious. Overall, we would love to go back!

Summary: Plenty of space for our group of 9. Lots of toys, water gear, activites, games etc. House was stocked with bathroom and kitchen items. Checking in and out was a cinch.

Summary: I almost hate to leave a review because I don't really want to share this secret gem! But this property was perfect in just about every way. It has everything you could possibly need. There's nothing you won't find in the kitchen for cooking, baking, grilling. Countless games and beach/water toys for all ages. Comfy beds, plenty of linens, and more than enough space. The owners had excellent communication and were a pleasure to deal with. It's very clear they take pride in their rental and go above and beyond to make it enjoyable for their guests. We packed all of our food, and only had to leave the house once (for milk) which was ideal, because we had no desire to leave for any reason. The deck space is heavenly. Beautiful sunrises. We will absolutely be back!

Summary: This home is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. We had visited this area a couple a years ago and we will be back. The House and property were perfect -- everything you could possible need was there. The lakefront deck was a favorite for the family. This home is completely stocked - from the kitchen, the beach and yard toys and the list could go on. Thanks again for sharing your oasis.
