Summary: My wife and I stayed at Jonathan's family cottage for three days in October 2022. We brought our dog Joe too. We had a good time and the cottage was perfect for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the cottage was very clean! Great washer and dryer! Some friends from Cleveland came and spent one night on the futon and found it comfortable as well. Jonathan was quick to answer questions we had when we first arrived. Everything went well and I'd go back in the future!

Summary: Very clean cottage right on the water. We appreciated the calm quiet neighborhood for our two night getaway and were glad to be able to bring our dog. Communication with hosts was excellent. House had everything we needed and bed was comfortable. Two disappointments were 1) bacteria levels in the water are currently high and swimming was not advised due to high risk. We had sought out a place on the water so that we could swim and were not able to do so in the end. 2) we found our stay overall very overpriced. It cost about double what it should have cost (compared to other vacation rentals we have experienced in other cities). The pet fee was exorbitant. The other service fees were also quite high given that we also had check out responsibilities of taking out trash and stripping beds. However if you are willing to pay the price, this is a good cottage with responsive hosts.

Summary: Very clean, cottage-style house right on the water - perfect spot for our little family reunion (6 adults). Nice fridge and stove, and the bonus was a washer and dryer! TV room with Roku was great for a rainy day, and we were able to launch our kayaks for a nice paddle on the sunny day! We weren’t able to swim (very rocky, no sand), but we really enjoyed the firepit right by the water - s’mores and starlight :) Jonathan was very responsive and helpful - thank you so much!!

Summary: The house was just what we were looking for. Small, clean house right on the lake. There is no direct lake access due to the small cliff, but that was ok. We just enjoyed sitting in the chairs taking in the gorgeous lake views! The neighborhood is quiet. The house was clean and comfortable. No complaints!

Summary: We spent a week at the lakehouse. It is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The views are spectacular. We spent most nights by the lake with a perfect fire pit. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen, although small - was well appointed and fine to cook or warm things up. The home and property is clean and stocked with basics. Although there wasn’t a reserved parking space, we never had an issue parking on the street. It’s located close to major grocery stores and many restaurants. The shower is on the smaller side but works just fine and water pressure was good. We will definitely rebook. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Summary: Great place for a peaceful vacation. We had two young children with us and it worked out great (note the stairs of the home are a bit steep but we set ground rules and all was good for us). The neighbors were quiet and very polite. There is an eagles nest right next to the property and got to have a great learning/ education moment with our oldest. Plenty of board games and space to move around. Great place!!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this Point Place neighborhood cottage that is right on Lake Erie. The place was very clean and perfect for our family of four (including kids aged 5 and 6). Jonathan was easy to work with. While there isn't much access to the lake, the view is absolutely amazing. A few hits from the neighborhood (beyond the friendly neighbors themselves) were the Fritzie Freeze for ice cream and Grace's for breakfast. There were also some games for the kids. Enjoy!

Summary: The property was pretty, the view was amazing. The firepit area is in the perfect location, but bring your own chairs. Their chairs are cracked and we were afraid to sit on them. Very close to many places. Restaurants, museums, beaches (Luna Pier, MI and Maumee Bay State Park were AMAZING!) Great area to visit!
