Summary: Beautiful waterfront property with all the little details covered. Clean and well maintained cottage. Close to everything we had planned for the week with the comforts of relaxing listening to the waves come in, swimming and evening campfires.

Summary: An incredibly well equipped cottage with more space than you'd think from the pictures. We had 6 adults and 2 dogs and never felt cramped. The deck and waterfront had lots of seating. The new boat launch looks great. We didn't have a watercraft but it would be perfect for a small craft launch. As mentioned by other reviewers, watershoes are needed as the shore is rocky but swimming is definitely possible with proper footwear. I was pleased to find all the usual amenities along with an airfryer, crockpot and Keurig. The only thing I found missing was a good mixing bowl (I made pancakes and some cookies so had to improvise a bit) and since we were there a week a couple more dish cloths and dish towels would have been handy. They did however have lots of fans which were great since it was hot and even window A/C but that wasn't really needed. We didn't need to contact the local property manager for anything but any of my communications with the host were answered fully and promptly. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this space.

Summary: It was very peaceful and the view was amazing. We were looking for a quiet, getaway spot to relax and unwind. This was the perfect spot for that. The cottage had everything we needed and looked exactly like the photos.

Summary: We loved our stay at this lake front cottage! The cottage was clean upon arrival and our hosts graciously left a bottle of wine and solar glasses to observe the eclipse during our stay (our reason for visiting Selkirk and this turned out to be the perfect location just for this). The cottage had all the amenities we required, check-in was a breeze and we loved the area. Going for a walk in either direction provided amazing views of the lake, and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. The real treat were the amazingly colorful sunrises each morning that left us in awe. Some of the most beautiful sunrises we've seen, which you could watch out on the back patio or from the comfort of the kitchen table or family room sofa. Our family really enjoyed our stay and spent lots of time bonding and talking while taking in all the beautiful scenery. Port Dover (~20 mins away) was a cool town to visit for some shopping and eating while enjoying a beach vibe. The cottage does have WiFi but it is not the fastest and would sometimes struggle if someone was streaming Netflix while another person was on their computer. I did have to do some work during our stay and was able to successfully use my iPhone as a hotspot for meetings. I found the signal to be strongest by the kitchen door/window facing the shed. If I tried using it in the family room or kitchen, the connection was much more spotty and slower. If you're looking for a quiet, chill weekend, you won't be disappointed!

Summary: The cottage was larger than it looks. Ample parking though. Clean inside with extras like central air ,dishwasher. Nice view. Quiet at end of road. Unusable boat launch ,which was a negative as we brought a boat. The cement launch had huge deep gaps that are impassable. Not really a good area for swimming either do to rocks ,no sand .Miscommunication with checkout times posted and then informed by owner earlier checkout.Overall this was our first rental which was pleasant.

Summary: Beautiful location. Brought own water toys ie paddleboards kayaks. Bring water shoes as Rocky entrance and careful can be slippery. Went out into deeper water to swim. Rooms and patio very spacious. Overall great time!

Summary: Cute cottage right on the lake. Easy to get around the cottage, beds were very comfortable with a lot of seating options both inside and outside. The ramp/driveway made it easy to bring our kayaks right to the water were able to kayak right from the cottage and the location gives you some protection from southerly waves. Very happy we were able to bring our pup with us on the trip. Best night was lighting a fire looking out on the lake.
