HIDEAWAY BAY on Lake Diane is the perfect getaway. Spend your days boating, fishing, gathering on the lake, or just relaxing under the beautiful canopy of trees. Take walks, rent a golf cart, even rent horses! There are several wineries nearby as well as antique shops, farmers markets, and small towns. Pokagon State Park - famous for their beautiful trails and seasonal toboggan run (winter-even when there is no snow) is only a short drive from Lake Diane.
Spend your nights helping the kids catch fireflies and make s'mores over the campfire. Have some drinks, play games. Be together again. The landscape is hilly and beautiful. In the fall, the air is fresh and crisp and the colors are nothing short of spectacular. If ice fishing is your passion, its only steps away. Wildlife abounds. The lake is naturally stocked with fish and draws fisherman from all around.
Our recently remodeled home is designed with an open concept to allow big groups to be together, but also offers a separate porch with a full wall of windows overlooking the beautiful landscape. Hideaway Bay offers something for everyone but is especially great for family gatherings and nature lovers. Guests will enjoy wildlife including symphonies of birds in the morning and crickets, frogs etc. in the evening. Deer can be seen most evenings nearby or on site.
You can wake up in the morning to enjoy your coffee on the porch and watch the fish jump and possibly some random chickens roaming nearby. Prepare a feast for your family in our well stocked kitchen. Take your fishing pole down to the water and catch dinner. Maybe just lie in the hammock with a mimosa. End your day with a relaxing sauna. However you like to spend your vacation, you can do it at Hideaway Bay.

Summary: The photos did not do the rental justice. The kitchen is roomy, meal prep and hang out friendly. The lay out and renovation of the house was done thoughtfully and is quite accommodating. Our family of 5 found nice hang out spaces to be apart and together, and the location in MI is close to lots of great outings and sight seeing.

Summary: The house had everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. The house was well stocked with linens and basic supplies, and had a lot of "hanging out" space both inside and out. The AC, WIFI and ROKU TV worked well. We did rent the pontoon and enjoyed motoring around the lake, swimming and fishing. We liked the quiet and secluded location. We would definitely come back!

Summary: This is a charming house on a large lot. The owner is very helpful and responsive. The house is roomy and well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The deck is large and has plenty of shade in the afternoon. There is a very nice table on the deck that is well shaded. As other reviewers have mentioned, you really need a boat to enjoy the lake. The "bay" is just large enough to turn around a pontoon boat. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a woodsy, private rental except families with very young children. The deck railing doesn't have many vertical posts. They are spaced about 5 feet apart.

Summary: We were greeted by a nice welcome note written on the chalk board kitchen table which was very cool along with a great welcome basket. The house was very pretty and comfortable lots of seating for larger groups. Loved the back deck and all it’s seating. The view of the end of the canal was really pretty and peaceful.

Summary: It was amazing! Very peaceful and relaxing. the fishing was good. the slight seclusion from the other neighbors with the woods on either side was very nice!! plenty of amenities close by. Had a great time
