This newly renovated cottage sits on a wooded lot on the east facing shore of Big Sandy Pond in Plymouth; this vacation getaway is close to many activities. 10 minutes from Bourne Bridge, 15 minutes from Historic Plymouth Waterfront, 5 minutes from Atlantic Country Club and many other courses close by. Water Wizz and downtown Buzzards Bay 10 minutes away. OR enjoy your days relaxing, swimming, kayaking sailing, jet-skiing or water skiing from your own private dock. Neighborhood beach is a two minute walk. The cottage has two bedrooms, a 4 season porch overlooking the water and a cozy deck. Immaculate spot to relax and enjoy beautiful days after a long winter.
Big Sandy is a very clean 134 acre great pond which is stocked annually with trout and has many bass as well as other fish. It is fully recreational and boats are allowed, there is a public landing very close by.
The cottage is an easy drive, you never fight the Bridge traffic.

Summary: We stayed for a week in August and had a great time. The lake is clear and relaxing for swimming or paddling, and the fishing is good. The kitchen and grill are great, and the owners are nearby and super nice. Highly recommended!

Summary: We had a great visit. Cabin was comfortable with a great sunroom. We played alot of cards in there. It is within short distance to downtown Plymouth and we enjoyed the fireworks on the pond. Our hostess was very attentive.

Summary: We had a great time at this house. Michele the owner was two houses down and so wonderful. The house came with everything we needed plus more that we didn't need but enjoyed using; canoe, lobster trap, lake platform, and grill. With no added expenses made it even that more better. We loved the house, lake and Michele so much we stayed an extra day more then originally planned. Thank you so much!

Summary: This was a great long weekend stay. The cottage was well taken care of and the owner was very kind and helpful. The view was perfect and we barely left the property as it was so relaxing. We are looking forward to staying again.

Summary: Overall wonderful vacation. A little far from activities but a great Lake to swim in. But a little more rustic than expected. Beds good but could use a little updating of other furniture. Awesome porch and deck looking out over lake. No AC and it was a hot spell but we managed with their many fans. Very nice attentive owners.
