Spacious lakefront home in a rural area. Home is situated on 4 wooded acres on northwest edge of Lake Broward. Nice dock w/ screened porch in clear swimming area visible from home. Good lake for fishing and boating. Private boat ramp and ample parking. Full lake views from back of house with sunny mornings and shady afternoons. South side of home has 3 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 double) w/1.5 baths. Center has living room w/fireplace and full kitchen. North side has large studio suite (queen) with a full bath, 2nd full kitchen, dining area, and best views. Large air conditioned porch with dining area along rear of home overlooking lake. Screened porch nestled between the two dining areas. Four satellite TVs and wifi. With two queen size futons, home can sleep up to 12 people.
Accommodations: The south end of the house has three bedrooms (2 queen w/ satellite TV and DVD players, one double with TV/VCR) sharing one full and one half bath. The center section of the house has a living room with satellite TV, DVD player, a full kitchen, and enclosed back porch. The north end of the house has a large studio-style suite with queen bed, satellite TV, DVD player, full bath, full kitchen/bar with dining area, back screen porch, and open front porch with gas grill.
Amenities: Both kitchens are fully equipped. Towels and linens are supplied. There is a picnic table in the upper part of the back yard, and a gas grill on the north side (front). There are two kayaks near the white sand swimming area, and there is a screened porch on the dock. There is plenty of parking and a private boat ramp.
General Area: This is a 4-acre rural setting, private but not isolated, located just 2 miles off SR 17 in Pomona Park. A large grocery store and several good restaurants are within 10-20 minute drive. Crescent Lake 'Bass Capital of the World' is 10 miles south, with public boat ramp; from there, Dunns Creek waterway takes you to St. Johns River at Palatka. St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Ormond and New Smyrna within 60 miles.
This is an older home which has been added onto over the years by various families. We put in new windows, central air & heat, renovated the main kitchen, and remodeled the master suite and kitchen/dining area at the north end. This is a spacious home, well suited to large families, is clean and pet-friendly. There is a cottage next to the house which contains a storage area for some construction materials, and is partially fenced apart from the main house. If this kind of thing bothers you, please reserve another property for your vacation rental.
Weekly rentals only during June, July and August; Saturday is the changeover day. Monthly rentals only during January, February, and March.

Summary: We stayed at Beth's beautiful property for five weeks in March and April of 2025. We had a wonderful time. When we arrived Brandy, the house cleaner was there, and she welcomed us with open arms. The grounds were beautiful with azaleas, camelias. and wisteria in bloom. The house was clean and very arranged to accommodate all of our needs. We had a wonderful 5 weeks there. We had many guests coming in and out during our time. All of our guests were impressed with the lakehouse and the setting. We were happy that Beth allowed us to have guests during our stay. We enjoyed the fishing boat and kayaks that were there for our use. During the time there my husband and our guests caught enough bass to have a nice fish fry! The lake view alone is phenomenal. We also enjoyed all of the wildlife that we got to observe during our stay: ducks, egrets (including one that was hatched during our stay), turkeys, deer and more kept us constantly entertained.Beh was easy to communicate with and always receptive to our needs. We couldn't have asked for a more gracious host. We are planning to come back next year.

Summary: A lovely home right on the lake. We loved the quirky home, it had the feel of a Florida family home. It had plenty room, a well stocked kitchen, I did miss not having a griddle for pancakes, but everything else was great. The sun porch over looking the lake was our favorite sot. Morning coffee and evening cocktails. The fishing was great! The location perfect for day trips. Had a great time. Miss it already! Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Summary: We had an amazing time relaxing with friends and family. The lake was beautiful and the property provided an easy place to launch the boat. There is lots of wild life in the area that visited us. House was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. A big plus for the older members of our group!

Summary: Thank you for sharing your lake house with us. We had a great time. We went into the lake everyday. Our dogs & my grandson loved swimming in it. The guys did some fishing for the dock. The house was well stocked and accommodated us very well.

Summary: My family spent a weekend here & we can’t wait to come back again. The house is so much bigger than we expected my son keeps referring to the house as the lake mansion! He really wants to come back, which says a lot coming from a city boy. You definitely will have plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. They had every amenities we could have needed between the 2 kitchens. With it being an older house i was nervous it wouldn’t be very clean & it was perfect which is saying a lot coming from me. It’s very well kept. The hosts are wonderful to work with, Beth replies promptly & politely. We had one little plumbing problem while we were there & Beth was right on the ball & had someone out within a few hours to fix the problem. The outside of the house is also well kept & has plenty amenities. Our kiddos loved paddling out in the Jon boat & playing in the beach area with the kayaks. The reviews made me wonder about the dock but i am a big woman(300+ lbs) & the dock held up fine to me, it’s definitely older but it’s sturdy. Our only complaint would be the spiders & webs on the dock, it could use a good pressure wash or maybe some spider repellent but that’s something that is expected when in nature so it wasn’t a hinderance for us. I wish i could post photos with my review cause the property is beautiful! We saw deer, cranes, & so many different birds during our stay. It was such a nice getaway from city life. We will definitely be back again!
