Summary: Wineries, breweries, good food and a great lakeside view - that's what we were able to enjoy during our stay at Janis and Byron's apartment right on Keuka Lake. We visited in March, so it was a bit chilly. We even got a bit of snow during our stay, but that didn't detract from our time there. Being at Keuka Lake during late winter made it seem like we had the area to ourselves. Wineries, breweries and restaurants weren't crowded at all, so we had the opportunity to talk with folks (employees and owners) to learn more about the area and the local food and beverages. We used Main Street Drivers to get us around town. Our driver was able to take us to a few spots that we may not have discovered on our own. The apartment was relaxing and had everything we needed for our short stay. The pictures of the property are accurate, so no surprises there. The owners were great - helpful when we had questions, but gave us plenty of privacy. If you like wine and enjoy time on the lake (or at least looking at it during the winter), add this place to your list!

Summary: Good location for taking days trips in the area. Great views from the patio and also from inside the rental. Everything we needed was there. Close to wineries and waterfalls. Very relaxing stay. We will be back.

Summary: Janis and Byron are wonderful hosts. Their lower level apartment for 2 is perfect. It’s beautifully decorated and had everything we needed during our visit. It is just steps from the lakeshore so it was lovely to be able to eat breakfast while looking out at the lake. Later in the day, we were able to have a glass of wine before dinner while again, enjoying the lake view. The neighborhood was quiet with nothing to disturb our sleep. We would stay here again with no hesitation.
