Spend your holiday lakefront, Thanksgiving through the New Year, we are full-on decorated for holiday coziness and spirit. Enjoy all of the activities at Pokagon State Park, offering activities in all seasons. Whether you are hiking trails year-round or bundling up and taking a thrill ride on the famous toboggan run, we know you will enjoy our natural state park just a few miles away (park entrance included in your stay)!
Crooked Lake lakefront gem! Easily sleeps 12-14 in this 3-story, tastefully furnished, turnkey vacation rental home. 4 bedroom (plus extra pullout bed in office), 3 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms, 2 kitchens, vast views from upper deck, master bedroom deck, and lower patio.
Convenient main floor office/bed, although a smaller bedroom it is the only office/sleeping on the same floor as the kitchen, dining, and living room. The master bedroom is on the middle floor, boasting a private veranda with sitting area to view first and second basin of Crooked Lake. A second master bedroom on the middle floor has wide-open views of the lake through a large wall of windows.
The lower lake level is like a private section of the house with its own kitchenette consisting of a mini-refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, sink, and pantry. There's a queen bedroom on this floor along with a separate full bathroom. The final bedroom is a large bunk room with two sets of bunk beds and a full bed. There's plenty of room for your air mattresses or sleeping bags in this room.
All three floors can be accessed by the convenient elevator. Please note that there are five steps from the garage to the main floor and no elevator access to the garage and driveway, and this is not a wheelchair accessible home.
Earthen steps and pavers wind down the hill to the lakefront. Great swimming area, expect a sandy bottom with stones and shells (water/swim shoes highly recommended). Expansive dock with sitting area. Shared dock with owners for access to boat. Lake toys, large swim pad, kayaks (ride-on and sit-in), paddle boat, & foam noodles. Bring your lake floaties and lounge in the sun!
Shop at the Fremont Outlets, tour the winery, savor the local eateries, visit Trine University, and enjoy the beautiful quaint city of Angola with all the boutiques, diners, history, and personality! You will fall in love with our lake's community!!
Pet acceptance on a case-by-case basis, only one small dog will be considered. Extra non-refundable pet fee applies $300. prior to check-in. This home is not for anyone with dog allergies, sorry.

Summary: We stayed at this house with 3 families (6 adults and 7 kids age 1-6). The kids room (located on the half level between the top and middle floors) was great with carpeting and lots of toys for them to play with. The kids room even had its own bathroom which was great for recently potty trained toddlers. We brought our baby monitors and could hear them just fine out to the dock, on all the decks and down to the hot tub area. The garage was also a very fun play area with ping pong and foseball and more toys! This was a half-level above the kitchen and had a half bath right by the door. The kitchen was great- we cooked all our meals there for the weekend and there were plenty of cooking tools, plates (kids plates!) utensils etc. Ran the dishwasher several times with no issues. They had the basics for oil, foil, etc. Lots of seating even for our big group- high chair and booster seat x2. The bathrooms were very nice - 2 paired with the suites on the middle level and another full bath in the basement by that bedroom. They had so many towels which was much appreciated with all the kids constantly in and out of the water. Clothes washer and dryer worked well with provided soap. Our family loved the hot tub, given mid-September the lake water was cooler to stay in too long for the kids. The shallow area was huge and perfect for the kids when we were in. We used the pedal boat which the toddlers thought was so cool and the floating pad. Amazing Weekend! Thanks!

Summary: This house has incredible views of the lake very nice home the bed room under the gradge gets a little warm but we had a great time would rent again

Summary: We had a wonderful stay on Crooked Lake. The Hosts are very nice and quick to respond. The house is lovely and has awesome views. The location in the lake is perfect, right between bay 1 and 2. We used all the amenities—hot tub, paddle boat and kayaks, and enjoyed games in the garage area. Having 3 refrigerators was perfect for our large family. There was plenty of space for everyone: 2 decks, the dock, two living spaces and a Great Lake!

Summary: This rental is FANTASTIC! The house has all the fun amenities, and the very responsive owners did not overlook details. We loved being right on the lake and having all the amenities right there. The kids immediately went down to the lake and had a blast all weekend with the paddleboat, 2 kayaks, and lily pad. Our crew even caught 8-9 bass (~12 inches) right off the dock with the poles provided. The dock has a nice wide area with chairs to enjoy the sun and take in the view. Our crew enjoyed all of it. The view from the 3rd floor deck was terrific and so relaxing! We enjoyed looking over the lake in the comfortable patio couches and chairs. Several people just sat and read a book in the mornings with their coffee. While there were other boats on the lake, it was a very peaceful area. No issue with loud neighbors… felt like we had the area to ourselves. The bunk room was perfect for our combined 7 kids (aged 11-18), while the parents each had their own room and bathroom. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower water pressure was great, and we never ran out of hot water. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and things we needed. Having the 3 refrigerators allowed us to cook meals at the house, so we never had to leave for restaurants. The house provided a grill, which we used to cook burgers & chicken – super handy! There’s a large grocery store 10 min away. Our crew of 13 all agreed that this was the best rental that we have had in our 8 years of annual rentals!!!
