2 Bedroom, 2 Bath & Loft Room; Sleeps five (5) * Set on the shore of beautiful Duncan Lake in Ossipee, meticulously maintained and fully renovated open ranch house just 10 minutes from Wolfeboro.
No Pets; non-smokers only
Spectacular views and private lakefront. Nearly an acre lot lawn and garden with Foot Bridge. Master bedroom boasts cathedral ceiling with ceiling fan, sunroom including patio set that is perfect for intimate breakfasts & watching the sunset, master bedroom deck, large master bath & DVD player. Living room highlights perfect views of the lake with large sunlit windows and 45” flat screen TV with DVD player. Beautiful kitchen is fully outfitted. House has screened in porch area as well as beautiful dining area.

1 peddle boat (seats to 2 peddlers & 2 passengers)

1 Portable Pickleball net and court
Experience the serenity & beauty of Duncan Lake with its restriction on power boats with speeds exceeding 6 MPH making it the perfect place for swimming, kayaking, fishing or watching the loons. Lakefront has perfect exposure with sun from morning till night. Enjoy barbecuing or spend the night under the stars.
For Fisherman Duncan Lake provides an ideal location. As described from the BAIT AND HOOK REPORT "Fishermen will find a variety of fish including rainbow trout, largemouth bass and brook trout here. Whether you’re baitcasting, spinning or fly fishing your chances of getting a bite here are good." A fishing license is required and can be easily obtained from the local hardware store.
Bedrooms are newly furnished and contain brand new queen mattresses (purchased 2019) and full amenities. House is WIFI equipped.
Although you’ll feel as though you are in a hidden quiet oasis, very convenient to shopping with a Hannaford Supermarket, Duncan Donuts, Walgreens & Family Dollar right around the corner in walking distance. Convenient to restaurants too with Lake Winnipesaukee boat cruises and Wolfeboro with its many specialty shops nestled in historic storefronts just 10 minutes away. Also located half hour from North Conway where you can find tax free outlet shopping with national name brand outlet stores or enjoy the picturesque views of Mount Washington, Mount Chocorua as well as many other popular family attractions i.e. as Storyland, Santa's Village, & North Conway's Historic Railroad.
Autumn rentals also available to enjoy gorgeous fall foliage. Area has been dubbed one of the best fall foliage viewing areas in the country by major publications.

Summary: We have rented VRBOs in the US and Europe and own rental property. I wanted to love this place for our summer vacation week with my adult children. It boasted a beautiful outdoor area on a quaint lake. However, the property fell short of the standards we’ve experienced with other rentals. There were multiple cameras inside/outside that we were told to cover with paper bags for privacy (audio?). The listing stated mattresses were new, but the beds sunk in the middle and were uncomfortable. The futon in the loft was uncomfortable and loft was hot without proper ventilation. The water heater stopped working the 2nd day. As the July days were hot and humid and the house unairconditioned, we decided to shower before bedtime and realized that the water heater was not working. The owner sent out a plumber early the next morning who reset the unit and it worked for a short time. We contacted the owner again and she sent a handy man that came in the afternoon, but was unable to fix the unit. We were told a plumber would be back the next day. Faced with the prospect of having to take more cold showers with unknown repair time, we decided to leave on the 3rd day of our 6 day reservation. Ultimately the water heater was repaired over 36 hours after it first stopped working. We requested a refund for the last 3 days we did not stay. The owner would only refund 1 day – their position being the heater was working the following day (ignoring the fact the issue lasted nearly two days)

Summary: The lake was amazing and it was great having access to multiple boats. The house is a bit dated and the beds ver uncomfortable. It is also ver close to a main road with no good places to walk or ride bikes around the lake. But it was a very nice trip.

Summary: Excellent hosts, property is as advertised. Very clean, plenty of space for our family of 5. Convenient location. Lake is very quiet. Bring noodles for swimming to experience it best as the hosts suggested. Water is shallow which was great for us with a little one. As you go out further the sand can get soft and sinky. Perfect for kayaking, great beach area with large yard area too! Loved our trip!

Summary: Our week really could not have been any more perfect! The home was nice and clean and welcoming. The lake was perfect for all water activities. The weather cooperated with the exception of one day and we took full advantage of that and headed into North Conway for some shopping and sight-seeing. Overall, we had a fantastic time and thoroughly recommend this vacation home to anyone who is looking for a place to unwind and relax!

Summary: Planning and arrival: prompt communication, easy to work with. Great attention to detail. Smooth day of arrival including troubleshooting The cottage: beautiful setting, very private with quiet family next door. Lovely lawn overlooking our bay with incredible transition to beach. Nice entry room with excellent storage of beach related stuff available. Good place to dry towels! Kitchen adequate and basics fine. Some missing essentials like cheese grater, heat tolerant stirring spoon and few saucepan options. General kitchen grade B-. Living room very comfortable. Essential ceiling fan. Reading illumination mediocre. Dining room very nice. Master bedroom nice with great view of the beach but bed/mattress requires upgrade. Second bedroom also nice with same bed/mattress issue. Mid August is a bit warm/humid 24 hours a day despite multiple fans. We had a very nice time with our good friends here. I enjoyed the kayak and paddleboard very much. The water was great for swimming at close to 80 degrees. The water's edge has some vegetation breakdown matter that can be avoided.

Summary: I LOVED staying at this house! It's right on the lake, with gorgeous views, and minutes from a super market and other stores. The view of the lake is beautiful from inside the house, which has great sized-rooms and lots of space. My stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!
